I admit, YAY Phoenix! Congrats, that is great news.

I admit my K and I are all packed, we leave tomorrow morning for TN.

I admit we will be staying at our friends house while we work on cleaning and painting ours then wooot woot we are officially no longer "homeless" if you can call living in the Southwing of my son's house homeless.

I admit it is hard to believe there are people so kind and generous that they would drive 800+ miles to help us move and drive back another 800+ miles THEN let us stay for an extra few days. We may not have numerous friends but we have quality friends.

I admit I feel humbled and greatful by such kindnesses.

I admit that, once again, in complete defiance of doctor's orders, I got involved in a home remodeling project that has left me in various amounts of pain...
I admit that I have, against my preferred wishes, taken a Vicodin at the urging of the others living in the house (something about pain making me a grouchy son of a bitch and if I dont take the pain med I would have a cast iron frying pan applied to my skull, repeatedly.)
I admit that I took the med about 3 hours ago and the others in the house are still waiting for me to fall out and go to sleep....
I admit that vicodine rarely makes me sleepy, instead it is like giving me nine pots of coffee....

Can we say 57 year old doing an impression of ricochet rabbit?

i admit, that I am going against my doctors advice and have applied for school to learn how to operate heavy machinery. My doctor, doesn't think it is a good idea because I am a diabetic and of I have an sugar crash i could maybe hurt someone. i am on disability because of a transplant. and I am tired of not being a functional member of society, and this would give me a chance to get out and work, which is something I need or be swallowed up into a pit of despair.

School starts in July, somI have a lot of time to get sorted out.

HF, if you are following the set treatment, a sugar crash would be a rare occurrence, unless you get real dehydrated, then there are other problems going with the drop in sugar.

I know of diabetics operating everything from heavy machinery to the cranes they use to build skyscrapers with perfect safety records.

the other suggestion is find a hobby that can be easily used to make money, in my case, I rebuild and restore old tube style radios which, not working, sell for 50 to 100 bucks and restored can bring upwards of $1000 plus.

And I am on disability due to a serious back injury and repeated knee injuries (hence my post.)

I am, according to the specialists:
To wear knee braces at all times when I am not asleep, except if I am sitting at my pc.
Avoid ladders, with or without knee braces
Wear a fucking back brace which is about as comfortable as a cast iron straight jacket
and use a cane when walking.

Or alternatively,

Consent for a 5th back surgery and 9th and 7th knee surgeries depending on which knee you want to discuss.

And since locals are out of the question and I have a nasty habit of my heart stopping or severe breathing problems coming out of a general, I dont think I will submit to more surgeries.

so weird it logged me in as someone named HF... my crashes are a rare occurrence.. and me getting in shape will help with me lowering my body weight and help me control my sugars better.. i was never on insulin before I had my kidney transplant, so it was a change for me.. i have until July to get myself in some semblance of shape and then hopefully get a decent job after I graduate. I am 52 years old, and I am going away for school.. wasn't Imsupposed to do that when I was like 18? lol

I would love to but the state declared me too crazy to drive (the Depakote ER handles both the bipolar and seizures) and lugging a puter on a greyhound bus can be kinda hard...LOL!!! Besides I need to start saving for my annual anime con trip to Austin in July of next year (which means cutting down on the amount of yarn I can get). If and when I hit the lottery...

I admit I have a conversation with spiders and let 'em know if they stay quiet in their corners; I leave em alone. If they starry verturing too close into my unavoidable line of sight, they gotta go. Kay knows if she hears me screaming, it's a spider.
