Status: online 		Why are we perforce higher maintenance than a vanilla woman is? Because we aren't. The women you have partnered with may have been, but as the only constant in all  your relationships is you, this says more about your issues than theirs.

Beyond that, a dominant wants a submissive for a partner because they are not compatible with people who need power equal relationships. In other words, if he finds discussing and arguing pros and cons of every decision wearisome, and not energizing, then he will be very unhappy with someone who herself needs to be involved in every decision.

He is not ANY man..
 HE is a man that wants a sub woman and he can find a low maintenece if he wants to
He may also want pickles on his hotdog or to drive BMW's only...and will find dills or sweet mixed if he wants
It is a preference..a choice..a desire...a need...a want..

I am very, very, very, very high mantance.

But, unlike other high mantaience women, but the whole sex on demand thing kind of makes up for it.. o, btw.. I cook, well. that might have something to do with it.. I also don't complain about doing all the cleaning.

There's definitely something to be said for the above.  If you only attract high maintenance type of submissives, the common denominator really is you.

Overall, I don't see submissive females (or males for that matter) as any more or less high maintenance than any other cross section of society.  You could take any other common interest, such as reading detective stories, and spit out opinions that they are higher maintenance than those who don't.  There is no possible way to collect data either way, so the opinion is only based on a very small perception (i.e. your own) and has little value or merit since there is no way to determine if it is true.

Status: offline 		osf, you know for whatever strange reason, I actually like you, yes I know, fellow submissives forgive me, but osf, we are not for the most part high maintenance.  If anything, I am way more of deferential to my Man than any vanilla woman I know, I wait on him hand and foot, try and anticipate his needs, and cater to his every whim, so that is why to me, he wants me over a "vanilla" woman. Maybe you are attracting the "do me" subs, or forgive me, but your attitude here somtimes comes across as wrong. Trust me, a woman that is really submissive to her man is a treasure, and one to be respected, yes  respected, and loved. You may want to readjust your attitude on the women you are interacting with.
