I have experienced psychic phenomena since moving into a house that once had a BDSM Dungeon. I have also heard about certain popular BDSM venues being haunted.

My own experience is sporadic with only occassional situations. I have heard a voice in my hear say" I am going to hurt you" in the middle of the afternoon. I have had a invisible entity lie on top of me and was unable to move. I have had doors slam when the windows were closed and the weather was calm. I have heard forced whispers at the bottom of my bed. I even had the solid form of a young man,in his late twenties or early thirties,walk through my bedroom wall from outside the house,wearing a shirt and pants and carrying a brown box. He turned and faced the window and placed the box on my bed. I became paralysed for a few minutes. When I regained movement,the apparition disolved leaving a gold colored outline,which later desolved. I was not taking any narcotics and had no illusination,because I had myself checked out withim 24 hours,in case of a mild stroke or something similier.

What are your own experiences please?

I've had various psychic experiences in my life..none particularly related to bdsm venues though. One experience I had involved Master..well there were a couple about him...

When I was in India in 2001, I was talking to a yogi lady, most of her talk was telling me things, she started talking about a man who was coming in 2004, how he would change everything for the better..he seemed to be very important in her mind...I couldnt really understand it...as I was married at the time... I wasnt looking forward to another man coming into my life in that regard...I thought at the time...well perhaps he will be a work collegue who will bring significant changes...anyways..I soon forgot about the whole scenario she was telling me...

As it happened, my husband became gravely ill, as we were preparing for his death we used to talk a lot about different things. One day he said to me that there would be another man after him...everything in my mind wanted to reject what he was saying...yet at the same time...I had a kinda vision..I dont really know how to describe it...but my consciousness went to Seattle...I knew it was the Seattle area even though I had never been to that part of the States before...and in the vision type of thing I saw a little spark of light there...all this was happening while my husband was talking to me and while my mind was rejecting what he was saying....

As it happened....Master came to me from Seattle...in 2004.

Thats one little psychic story.

Master is also very psychic...here is one of his experiences I hope he doesnt mind me sharing... we were travelling home one night and he just said out of the blue.."We havent seen the owl around lately"..I said..why did yuo say that..he said...I just felt like I was sitting on our gate like I was the owl kinda thing...he was worried I would think he was strange I think..but I didnt think he was strange...anyways..we finally get home...and whats sitting on the front gate? The big old owl

Sorry my stories dont really relate to bdsm....hope you get some more reponses in the area your looking for.

I've been having experiences of that nature since I was a child ...

There are certain homes I will not stay in over night due to the negative energy within them.

For example, my sister moved in an apartment when I was 11. It turns out that in the year or so before she and her children moved in, that apartment had been used by drug dealers and was, at one point, a meth lab. The city had put a great deal of effort into cleaning that neighborhood up and making it safe for familes so by the time she moved in, all the surrounding buildings housed families much like hers. She could not understand why at bedtime each night her daughters would scream and cry and could not go to sleep. Finally I came over to spend the night one night and as soon as I stepped foot in the girls' bedroom I knew what was wrong. At 11 years old I didn't know enough about drugs and meth to explain myself properly but eventually I got the point across and they researched what I was telling them. They moved out of that place into a house within 6 months and the girls immediately had no further troubles sleeping.

Also, I moved to Texas when I was 19 to live with my second Master. (I'm not counting the one I was for two years online ... RT only.) Everything was fine .. Until he opened the door to his house and I stepped inside. I literally woke the neighbors with the screams. I've never had such a violent reaction to a place before. He had to just about pick me up and carry me back outside. It took me 20 minutes to calm down enough to explain to him what I felt when I walked into that house. It felt like being killed in the most horrible way I could imagine. I still get shaky when I think about it. It took a week before I was able to set foot in the house and even after that I would see/hear things ... Doors would slam. I would see shadow figures. I would hear voices. I often heard a baby crying and one night in our bedroom I saw an infant on the floor, its face distorted from screaming. We had no children ... It was when I was with him that I discovered my inability to have children.

There have been hundreds of experiences for me. Most had nothing to do with BDSM that I know of although I could be wrong. I try not to get too involved when those kinds of things start happening. The last thing I want to do is encourage it ...

There are times that I can tell someone something that will happen to them. I knew when my niece was going to have her baby even before she became pregnant. I knew it would be a boy. I knew when my father died before anyone told me. Everyone lied to me right up until we got to the hospital even though I kept telling them, he's already dead. He didn't fall, he died. I know that sometime within the next 5 years I will adopt a blonde haired child. Sometimes its a boy, sometimes its a girl ... I don't believe this child has been born yet and I think that may be the reason the sex keeps changing. The child will be around 3 - 4 years of age when he or she comes into my life. I know to the rest of the world this stuff sounds pretty crazy but there are strange things happening all around us.

This is actually pretty mild.

On the very tongue in cheek side of a reply and with no disrespect to any, clould this be the story line for "Ghost Busters 3"?

On a sensible note, paranormal activity is not as uncommon as you may think. Some folks are believers, some are not believers and some sit on the fence... I'm a Pagan, a Wiccan, and a Mage of course I accept these things but with a healthy dose of scepticism too which is both sane and sensible.. Perhaps eventually I may make the time to try to accumulate a file of such happenings as they relate to BDSM and probably include the sites of medieval torture as a reference point.. At one time I was thinking of doing my PhD on Parapsychology but have been leaning towards alternative lifestyles..

Believer or skeptic, I personally think there are some things not to screw with.

But if you wanted my opinion, I think the places where already haunted, and its for that reason they where chosen as BDSM venue, not that they started out as one then someone got choked out a bit too much and now some screwy sub is moving around with a box. So it's doubtful its BDSM related.

Never underestimate the power of the mind.

I would never state that supernatural occurences and psychic phenomena do not exist. I believe there are many things going on around us that we don't know or don't understand and as time passes our present conception of the universe will eventually look insanely primitive. I think it is natural to try and explain these things, the explanations we concoct can often be absurd. Lack of proof doesn't mean a claim is not genuine -- but circumstances can be interpreted in many different ways.

Either way, I don't think it has much to do with a house having a dungeon or a bdsm venue. They are just places with energy.

i've never seen nuthin and i'm very disapointed. Some sort of predjudice against me.......

though one night i got scared silly as i was laying on the carpet in my room.. eyes closed, staring at the wall.. and i heard footsteps. Not the actual footstep.. but the resounding thud of them. At first i thought it was Himself, actually i was sure of it. Then i knew he was sitting down.. and well.. i was getting abit unsettled. Eventually i was like Holy God, hopped up, shut the bedroom door, climbed up in bed, grabbed my bunny and pillow (protection!) and stared at the door. <grins>

Course couple of nights ago.. this toy with a button that has to pushed down.. that isnt pushable if its turned wrong... Well it went off. Starred singing this song.. Did it twice actually. Second time, i hopped up into the playroom to see what was in there.. nada.. then of course later that night round 2 am i went potty.. and i heard it again.. dark house... and i hightailed it 5 feet back into the bedroom and shut the door.

Course its a newly built house.. we're the first owners.. so i'm pretty sure its not haunted.

And of course.. Himself has abit of knowledge in this area.. He's told me there are beastie creatures around us at all times.. but er.. they protect us or something.. i dunno twas a long time ago he said it.

i've heard of the underworld/other world from various ppl. Some refused to give me any info. Though one did leave me with "you dont want to know about Halloween" i figure all the little ghoulies come out and have a party. Ghoulies being a broad term.

i dun know much about it.. but what i do know.. eh scares the crap outta me! i can barely cope with the evil i can see.. much less the stuff i've no experience in and cant see. i'd rather leave it the hell alone.

Q: Is what they say about the ouji board true?

At the age of 17 I recieved a small jolt from a Lightening strike,since that day I feel things about people.
It can be online,in person or on the phone.It has come in very handy when first getting to know someone.Its like a gut feeling but deeper.I become overwhelmed with a feeling about that person.
Sometimes its a good feeling,sometimes its a sad one.There have been times when the person turned out to be no good just like the feeling I got about them.Some think its creepy...I embrace it.
I also always feel a presence around Me, like someone is watching over Me.
