How interesting that someone I have never interacted with even online has me "pegged". I wonder what her (and your) solution would be then, to the pure hatred that is held towards westerns by that particular religious group. I remember the feeling I had when I watched Muslims throughout the world celebrating in the streets when the towers fell…Well I hope they have the same feelings watching us celebrate the death of their hero.

I am fighting with myself…trying not to feel joy at the death of another no matter how much he deserved it…but fuck it I do.

I do not know about anyone else, but my feelings have quickly turned to that of grief. Yes, it was almost 10 years ago, but this is kinda bringing it back for me. I am just sad, I am sad, and I just want to take a moment to let it sink in.... if nothing else, we haven't forgotten, have we? None of us have forgotten....

I miss-spoke with the "screaming baby" remark, and for that I apologize. I tend to use exagerated language sometimes, and in this instance it was highly highly inappropriate. The truth is, those extremists terrify me - I am a liberal, Pagan, gay little transboy and were they to get ahold of me somehow I would be fucked. As would anyone else like me. So yeah, I'm not terribly sympathetic towards Islam in general. It represents everything I am against.

Celebrating in the spirit I've put forth..Absolutely. People have watched their country and other countries being attacked. They celebrate for a number of reasons I would bet not all of them are doing so because a man is dead.

It seems the reason for the delay in the speech is that Obama had folks rummaging thru the White House closets looking for Dubya's "Mission Accomplished" banner
