Mods are human first and for the most part I have seen very good representation. There are Mods that do take their position to an abusive level and many of you who frequent the site knows exactly which they are. I started this thread in defense of Mod 2, wherever he may be, because he was being attacked and it was completely unfounded. I see a lot of fussing here and there. I myself will jump up and fuss when a Mod abuses their power. I have seen a poster get into a flame and switch to their Mod hat to bash their opponents and delete or sever threads. That is clearly abuse. Mod 2, as I said, has been very professional, and when I see a Mod posting and enjoying the threads it earns my respect, for they do it in a professional and/or good nature of the thread elevating the integrity of their positions. If anyone feels the need to attack the mods or even point out their errors, cite it, link it, and be civil about it. On the same token, reach over and give that Mod a pat when they are doing well. I know their time is valuable, as is mine, and I have the leisure of being able to work from my PC. I think it is human nature to assume that such liberty is afforded to others, however when I stop and think about it; you (the person on the board) could have just came in from your day of digging ditches, giving stitches, or closing up a tax audit. Some of you know each other but most of us do not, so you never know who is on the other end of that screen or what they are doing, working, or who they are. For all you know I could be a bum in a box using the library PC or the guy who just gave you the anal probe over your taxes.
