Well gee Captain Couragious, that's mighty magnanamous of you.
Yeah, I suppose we could send troops to those "bigoted arseholes" countries like Nigeria where a muslim sect just blew up a catholic church last night killing 25 or let the local police handle it.
So,...you'll be speaking up on this like the riots in France two years ago?
Last time I checked it wasn't "illegal" to insult a "religion." Why would it be? There is no "requirement" to "respect" any religion.
Hey! Maybe you and your friends could resurect the old "Abraham Lincoln Brigade!" And go from country to country making sure the people there were, ..."politically correct!"
Do you own a sword? It doesn't have to be a real one, just something you could swing at windmills.

I partly agree, it sure is swinging at windmills trying to educate some people. Why anyone feels it is okay to sling racial slurs around is beyond me.

Does something have to be illegal just to make people act like grown ups ?

Just an update on the sword, the pen is mightier, swashbuckling sailors are old hat.

What "racial slurs" are you talking about? And to which "race" were they,.....slung?
(Now, it has to be a R-A-C-E, not just some term that oh,......."offends" you. You don't get to call everything that,....."offends" you..... "racist." For example if you tripped over a rake in your garden and it sprung up and wacked you in the balls and it pissed you off you can't say that it ,......."offended" you racially.)

"Ohhhhhhh,.........I am the very model of a modern major general."

And, the pen is mightier than the sword but not for the "Politically Correct" Goose-Stepping Anal Retentives.
What was the name of Hitler's propaganda minister? The name escapes me.
He was trying to "educate" some people too, right?

Since this is overwhelmingly American Political thought, it must be that you are anti-semitic, it is the only possible explanation..........

We are shallow, damn proud of it.

Strange how he hasn't had any posts pulled, when you put it like that.
(Of course, this'll be vanishing soon because it's offtopic and mentions another poster. Quelle horreur!)

Spouting bile on a message board doesnt make you look big, nor has it anything to do with the topic at hand.

We all know the slurs thrown at Muslims are as much to do with them not being white as anything else, you can put lipstick on a pig but its still a pig. The difference I dont try and defend that kind of crap. It is hard to argue against bigotry, intolerance and ignorance though, it is harder still to think we would have to in this day and age.

Even harder still when the bigotry is either imagined or is claimed in order to stifle discussion.

Since you copied my post I assume it is directed at me. Care to point out exactly where I have ever tried to stifle discussion or is this just more bullshit ?

As soon as you substantiate your claim that "slurs thrown at Muslims are as much to do with them not being white as anything else".

Thank you Lucy, the mods even started a post about using slurs at the time.

He was told that, Polite. Pops didnt believe me, as evidenced by his continued use of the term. Seems it required the Mods to convince him.

Thanks Tazzy, I kind of figured that.

It makes me wonder why I am getting stick off of people for objection to these kind of remarks, not that it bothers me.

You arent the only one objecting, Polite.

When someone reduces themselves to using slurs, they have already lost the debate.
