Well this is getting complicated. Now we have two revisions from the NYT, which may or may not have relied on a source from Republican Congress, and two Inspectors General who apparently misspoke the first time around. Fuck it. Average Joe voter isn't going to sort through this. Most people don't even remember when she lied about being shot at.

Now the DOJ appears to have told Congress that there are possibly hundreds of classified e-mails on Hillary's server. Hillary says no. So here are the possibilities as I see them.

1 - Hillary lied
2 - DOJ lied
3 - Obama wants to devistate and humiliate Hillary
4 - DOJ is right wing
5 - Obama is right wing
6 - Congress lied
7 - Hillary is right wing
8 - tired of making crap possibilites up so I quite there

There's more to that woman than meets the eye, and I for one am always curious as to what these high profile women get up to behind closed doors.

This might be a clue...

She's quite an attractive woman really. How old is she? About 60? Looking good for her years.

What's going on with the Land of the Rising Sun behind her head?

Those are the 'thousand points of light'...just a few short.

Never heard of it, but just looked it up and seen the phrase owes its existence to John Winthrop.

Very interesting.

I've got a feeling she has more about her than Bill, so good luck to her.

They certainly are not showing any liberal love for the hills. Not that they should, they should be .... reporting FACTS

The Missing Hillary Emails No One Can Explain

There is a two-month gap in Hillary Clinton’s emails that coincides with violence in Libya and the employment status of a top Clinton aide, Huma Abedin.

Among the approximately 2,000 emails that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has released from her private account, there is a conspicuous two-month gap. There are no emails between Clinton and her State Department staff during May and June 2012, a period of escalating violence in Libya leading up to the September 11 attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi that left four Americans dead.

A State Department spokesman told The Daily Beast that for the year 2012, only those emails related to the security of the consulate or to the U.S. diplomatic presence in Libya were made public and turned over to a House committee investigating the fatal Benghazi assault. But if that’s true, then neither Clinton nor her staff communicated via email about the escalating dangers in Libya. There were three attacks during that two-month period, including one that targeted the consulate.

That two-month period also coincides with a senior Clinton aide obtaining a special exemption that allowed her to work both as a staff member to the secretary and in a private capacity for Clinton and her husband’s foundation. The Associated Press has sued to obtain emails from Clinton’s account about the aide, Huma Abedin.

The status of Clinton’s emails has become an explosive political issue ever since The New York Times revealed that the then-Secretary of State was using a private email server to handle her official correspondence. Cybersecurity experts believe the homebrew system opened Clinton and her colleagues to targeting from online spies. The State Department and Intelligence Community Inspector Generals have asked the Justice Department to look into possible disclosure of classified information.

Regarding the security situation in Libya, there was plenty for Clinton and her team to discuss via email. On May 22, 2012, the International Red Cross’s Benghazi office was hit by rocket-propelled grenades.

“The attack on the International Red Cross was another attack that also involved us and threats to the compound there in Benghazi,” testified Lieutenant Colonel Andrew Wood, a senior State Department security chief in Libya (PDF) before the House Oversight Committee in October 2012.

Then, on June 6, an improvised explosive device detonated outside of the U.S. consulate, ripping a 12-foot-wide hole in the compound’s wall and prompting officials to release a public warning on “the fluid security situation in Libya.”

Yet the State Department has not produced any emails to or from Clinton about the improvised bomb.

President Sanders

Are you ready to give up your open borders?

quote:

Ezra Klein

You said being a democratic socialist means a more international view. I think if you take global poverty that seriously, it leads you to conclusions that in the US are considered out of political bounds. Things like sharply raising the level of immigration we permit, even up to a level of open borders. About sharply increasing …
Bernie Sanders

Open borders? No, that’s a Koch brothers proposal.
Ezra Klein

Really?
Bernie Sanders

Of course. That’s a right-wing proposal, which says essentially there is no United States. …
Ezra Klein

But it would make …
Bernie Sanders

Excuse me …
Ezra Klein

It would make a lot of global poor richer, wouldn’t it?
Bernie Sanders

It would make everybody in America poorer —you’re doing away with the concept of a nation state, and I don’t think there’s any country in the world that believes in that. If you believe in a nation state or in a country called the United States or UK or Denmark or any other country, you have an obligation in my view to do everything we can to help poor people. What right-wing people in this country would love is an open-border policy. Bring in all kinds of people, work for $2 or $3 an hour, that would be great for them. I don’t believe in that. I think we have to raise wages in this country, I think we have to do everything we can to create millions of jobs.

You know what youth unemployment is in the United States of America today? If you’re a white high school graduate, it’s 33 percent, Hispanic 36 percent, African American 51 percent. You think we should open the borders and bring in a lot of low-wage workers, or do you think maybe we should try to get jobs for those kids?

I think from a moral responsibility we’ve got to work with the rest of the industrialized world to address the problems of international poverty, but you don’t do that by making people in this country even poorer.

Are you ready to pay the very high cost of closing them?

In the real world, money isn't magic.

KenDckey -> RE: Hillary Probed (7/30/2015 7:14:01 AM)

Shades of startrek - just sayin

Musicmystery -> RE: Hillary Probed (7/30/2015 7:43:40 AM)

Too much public policy already comes from science fiction.

Time to return to real solutions to real issues in the real world using, well...reality.

I posted about your derail, Bernie Sanders, and his opposition to our current open borders policy

It aint about you, at all. Valid question, fair point. Answer it and quit derailing and trolling.

Will you stand the cost of closing the borders?

KenDckey -> RE: Hillary Probed (7/30/2015 12:16:24 PM)

Otter Suspend possee comitatus and implement Section 1076 is titled "Use of the Armed Forces in major public emergencies." It provided that:

The President may employ the armed forces... to... restore public order and enforce the laws of the United States when, as a result of a natural disaster, epidemic, or other serious public health emergency, terrorist attack or incident, or other condition... the President determines that... domestic violence has occurred to such an extent that the constituted authorities of the State or possession are incapable of maintaining public order... or [to] suppress, in a State, any insurrection, domestic violence, unlawful combination, or conspiracy if such... a condition... so hinders the execution of the laws... that any part or class of its people is deprived of a right, privilege, immunity, or protection named in the Constitution and secured by law... or opposes or obstructs the execution of the laws of the United States or impedes the course of justice under those laws.[8]

Thus it is all good training for the troops in my opinion. I believe it is called counter insurgency interdiction.

mnottertail -> RE: Hillary Probed (7/30/2015 12:44:16 PM)

NO thanks, its horridly expensive, and doesnt solve the problem, it makes it an Iraqi problem. That is, you will have to keep all those boots on the ground forever for it to stick.

Suspend Posse Comitatus and put all managers and owners of any business found to be employing illegals in Guantanamo, and torture them. After taking over their companies and houses and assets, selling them out both professionally and personally paying down the debt.

Game over, 12 seconds, debt cleared, illegals gone on their own dime.

Wow--what a delusional ego.

Guess what? Paying for border security ISN'T about you.
