The word "tribute" has a bad reputation. If a woman is a pro, then call it what it is, a fee. When I see the word "tribute," I immediately envision either a young girl looking for a free ride, or a guy posing as a girl, again looking for some free loot.

Over the last several years I have either contacted, or been contacted by probably at least 50 women. If I do the contacting I first read their profile, see if it seems we have anything in common, and look for that terrible word, "TRIBUTE". If it is there, then I probably won't contact them. Of all the women that I have either contacted, or that have contacted me in that time, there has been a grand total of one (1) that has not wanted me to send money or gifts or something. I've been talking to her since late last summer and things do look promising.

And that ignorant line about "to prove you are sincere" is usually just that. A line. Now, any time that subject comes up I ask them for a tribute just to prove they are sincere and not trying to scam me and disappear. Somehow they can't seem to see that that makes every bit as much sense as them asking for money to prove sincerity. If money proves sincerity, then it works both ways.

I'm not sure I understand, "Less of a person"
Asking for tribute is something anyone can do, for any reason. I don't feel asking is somehow connected to character.
If a person feels they have something to offer for tribute, and a person feels good sending money, great, we have two happy people.l
