Is this still done? $10K seems a bit stiff. I asked a friend about it, and he thought it might

It's not a trap at all. The steep price is caused by the rarity of available slaves for sale, and obviously just typical market inflation. I think you should probably offer a good faith deposit to the seller as this commodity will quickly be snatched up.

To be honest, the price varies based on market conditions and the quality of the goods. I think 5k each for an alpha girl is reasonable if it includes free shipping.

I'm pretty sure the Boys In The Back Room (Big Wave) are already keeping a close eye on us dangerous perverts so will be on the list for a visit.
They're probably a bit busy just now, but they'll get to him in time. They take HT very seriously, and even the obvious wackos will get attention.

Nah, the 'vendor' has nothing to worry about.
On previous investigations, the FBI found that 'vendors' end up being scammers, who are out to get money sent to them, but don't actually deliver (or have) any slaves. As such, the FBI doesn't much care, and didn't/doesn't prosecute.

It's the buyers they go after.
