apart from bosco's tongue in cheek "thank you" lucy, no, sorry, the term "alt left" existed and does exist outside this forum. and even if it didn't and he indeed created a new word, that doesn't change the charge that "islamophobia" overwhelmingly has no basis in reality, whereas "alt left" can easily be understood as a term simply meant to separate the left into further distinct groups, no different than "neo-con" or "alt right" for that matter.
