I thought this shit was illegal. And the saying was everything is illegal in California except "Fags". So apparently this is not illegal there. I hate to say there should be a law, but when it comes to this they should not be allowed to touch you.

This is simply too young. This is before the age of consent. This is abuse. The family court should take that kid away right now. When he is eighteen it is a whole different story.

Another thing is a M to F sex change is a real PITA. You have to keep that thing stuffed all the time or it will close up on you. There is pain and discomfort involved.

Psychologically, they are taking advantage of the fact the kid is being raised by two Women and probably looks up to them. Wants to be like them. And they are hurting Lesbians because they are making a case for not allowing Gay couples to adopt. And don't give me this Constitution shit, it is not in there.

Based on the rather ridiculous biased language used, Id dare say the author of the "article" (its really anti-trans propaganda piece from the sounds of it) had a pre-existing bias about trans in general. Its no wonder RM was attracted to it. The author should have just called the article "Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice" and the mysogynistic little sack would have come running like a cluckhead to a crack rock.

As for being raised by one gender being part of this...I call bullshit. Sounds like some personal biases against trans and/or LGBTQ if we're being honest. I am a single mom raising my son all on my own. He hasnt once ever said he wanted to be a woman because of it.

In any case, the parent...not RM's whiny bullshit...should be the one deciding proper medical treatment as far as their child is concerned UNLESS they are violating California state law. Id personally want my kid to wait on hormones until they were adults as far as our bodies are concerned. However if my kid felt strongly about it, Id be open-minded enough to seek out medical professionals who could help do it right.

I find it hard to believe that a child is capable of truly understanding themselves well enough at such a young age to make this kind of choice. Disregarding the biased attitude of the article's author, I can't help but think there is some truth in the idea that this has been influenced to some degree by the parents. Child abuse? I don't know. I do believe in the rights of parents to make most decisions for their kids. Nevertheless, I think this is wrong for the child.

Often parents report that they only realised their child's nature after the child threatened or committed self harm. The idea that otherwise devoted loving parents would force TG lifestyle on their child is laughable - no one would voluntarily choose such a life of thorns for their loved ones.

You're okay with the tax payer paying to put a kid whose parents want to give him a sex change into care, then?
Does that also extend to kids who are living on the street and being used as a prop for begging, kids who are being abused by their parents in a way that doesn't involve a sex change, and kids who are being homeschooled to limit their exposure to the twenty-first century, or is it just lesbians wanting to adjust a male child's plumbing you have an issue with?
It's as well to be clear about this, particularly as you've made some deeply unpleasant and snotty comments on here about publicly funded programmes that have been set up to help children from deprived, disadvantaged, or otherwise shitty backgrounds.

What am I getting here, that some people approve of this ? Too young to vote, drive, have a bank account buy a gun, go in the military, enter into a legal contract, but old enough to do this which is something that will permanently affect their life. In many places you can't even get your ears pierced at that age without parental consent. Of course most do consent but this is a bit more than an ear piercing.

Got it..

I say don't let them do this until the kid is eighteen. And people disagree with that ? WTF ?
