So I'm looking for someone in my area, as I thought you pretty much were meant to do unless you specifically looking for online, and I keep getting messaged by people literally in other countries. Most people that message me are actually from other countries. I don't get it? Why are they messaging me? How can I possibly be their domme if they are literally in another country? ?

Many don't bother to read your profile. They see you are female so they will write to you.

Set your mail controls so messages from other countries don't go to your inbox. It helps some.

The mail controls are located in the mail area. Click on read mail, once there look in the upper right for the menu item "Mail Controls". For there it is self explanatory. Like MsLadySue said, it will help some.

Some do read profiles but ignore what is there. I like to say they think they are special. A few thought being well hung would get me to want them. Or because they love older women. Some don't use the can / can't relocate feature when searching for a woman. Others think a woman my age is desperate or shouldn't be pickey.

I just mean like what can they possibly hope to come from talking to someone literally across the other side of the world? yeah I guess they really DO just message me cos I'm female. Hmm weird. Perhaps they are looking for 'online fun' dunno

If it helps, I get several messages from people in different countries too - and I don't even have a picture of boobies on my profile or am female! I think there are too many scammers and fakes on this site, all spamming messages to everyone to try and get some money and/or wank fantasies. That said there is the possibility that they have read your profile (I know, but I guess 0.001% do :) ) and want to talk to you about some of it without a physical relationship of any sort starting. Sometimes we get so used to the fakes that we mistake genuine people for them.

I love the ones that write, out of the blue from ludicrously far away, without ever viewing your profile, who promise to serve and obey your every wish, "I'll do ANYTHING You tell me to, Mistress, PLEEEEEEEASE make me Your slave!" You can either choose not to respond, or have a moment of fun by telling them to meet you tomorrow at 1PM sharp, at the Indian restaurant on Main Street. When they say they can't, well, that's an EPIC FAIL. Either way you can always just block them. If you set your mail filter to only accept those within your state, everything else will go to your Bulk inbox, and periodically you can delete those, unread, by clicking Select All and Delete.

It is probably the best to set your mail filter right and ignore those who come thrugh because responding to something you are not interested in means wasting time.

Look at this, instead of a photo I have a MAP showing them where Maine is, and they STILL write from too far away.
