i am asking this because i am a domestic slave and enjoy what i am doing. Because of that i feel that at times i short change the family so to speak. Master don't feel that way and don't wish to over load me but i still feel like i could be doing more for the house and Master and to that end i don't feel very slaveish (if that is a word lol) Does anyone feel this way and what do you do about it?

I may be coming at this from the wrong end but truthfully, there is no one thing that makes me feel like a slave. I just am; whether I am serving someone or not. For myself, it's not something that can be defined by an action; its something that is a part of ME. Always there; sometimes dormant, but always present.

Ask yourself is you are serving to the best of your ability. It's not in how much you can do for someone; but rather have you done everything you possibly can?

Just my perspective on it.

in my opinion it's not what you do that makes you a slave but what you are.
your desire to do more i think is normal but it sounds like your Master is happy with what you are doing now at least for now. i say to relax and follow His direction.

I think some of us want to be led one way or another. Some people need a firm disciplinarian and others need someone who gently nudges.
Maybe your lack of feeling slavish in your heart is what your expected style of slavery differs from your Masters.

I dated a man who would rarely if at all let me serve him in any capacity.
Every time he got his own drink from the kitchen I felt he took my job & I'd missed yet another opportunity I could have served him in.
After a few months it sunk in that my first job was to please and obey him. If my serving him was getting in my way it was because I was wanting to enforce my will over his.
I did my best to remember I was following his lead the way he wanted me to, and he was pleased with the things the way he had them.
I hope you too can get past your expectations and pre-conceived notions of service and just keep focusing on the service he chooses to require of you.

If you feel that you aren't doing enough, then do more and figure out how you can be more effecient in what you do. But quite frankly if your master doesn't see a problem, then I'm not sure that there is an actual problem.

Edited to add: in terms of feeling slavey, some times I don't feel slavey, even though I certainly always know that I'm his. If I'm loosing sight of who or what I am and such I usually just play with my brand, or sometimes I'll look over pictures of the brand as it was healing, because the process of the brand healing was something that helped quite a bit with solidifying my mindset of being his (in terms of the piece of flesh missing in the shape of his name). Also we have a daily ritual that I do which helps a lot in terms of feeling connected to him and my place.

Doing what is expected of me, I think, makes me feel like a slave. Obeying him, I should say.

I sometimes feel like I don't do enough, but it's not really up to me to decide that (how much I should do) - it's up to my owner.

I'm not sure what you are asking- it sounds like the only one thinking you're not feeling slavish is you. You've directly communicated your feelings to your master, his response is that it's all cool and happy. But you are not comforted by that and want to create your OWN standard and ways of going things.

Are you sure the issue is that you feel less utilized, OR that you feel less appreciated/fawned over?

I'd ask the master before I go any further- things are happy for him. Tell him once again "I'm just feeling under-utilized and frenzied right now and want a specific outlet to release that energy. Is there something you can give me to focus on, or may I have permission to find a project on my own?"

You could always feel this as a challenge to you- how to feel slavish under the standards HE has set rather than staying to YOUR standards. That takes a pretty "slaveish" mindset.

I also want to ask how long the relationship has been in place, and whether his behavior/standards has changed dramatically at all which may have caused this feeling in you?

Are you saying you don't feel like a slave because you enjoy what you are doing?

As for the later question, things that make me feel like a slave (rather than a sub) include objectification, deep humiliation, and being ignored. Oh, and licking His boots in public.

I have been i his home for 6 months he has other slaves in the one with him for 9 years, so i am still learning and growing. And i guess it is more my expectations than his i am trying to achieve thanks to all
