LadySeraphina -> RE: Mouth Soaping... (4/8/2007 11:23:59 PM)

I use rubber tipped forcep clamps on the tongue, interchangeably with natural soap. Dr. Bronner's is good, but so is the locally made natural lavender soap I buy. Naturally the idea is that they not swallow it anyway. I've also made them write lines, but I love putting soap in their mouths. Sometimes I'll rub the soap into their mouth, then clamp the tongue so they have to sit their with their tongue out, making faces at the taste, and drooling uncontrollably. That usually puts an end to the smart mouth. I try not to face slap, because I find it can become a reflex, and I don't want to ever hit without thinking about it, or out of anger or frustration. But that's just me.
