Status: offline 		I am seeking cheap temporary accomodation.

In the Tampa area of Florida........or maybe further a field.

Perhaps someone out there has a spare room they would like to rent out with internet access?

I am here in the US untill the 29th of september.

I am clean and tidy.

Status: offline 		Try craigslist... http://tampa.craigslist.org/  They have a whole section for rentals, roomates, etc...  It would probably do you better than posting on this board which probably has a rather limitied collection of tampa residents with rooms for rent. If the situation is what the scuttlebutt going around makes me think it is, that would probably do less to inflame an already delicate situation as well.... You know, not airing dirty laundry, keeping it in the family, etc... Tampa Craigslist will probably be your best bet.... Good luck.

umm.... the plan was two weeks Popeye... please don't assume you know the whole story.... Iain is a sweet guy, nice person, and GT is also an awesome person.  Hopefully without the help of the public forums, they can work things out as friends....

Status: offline 		If you run out of time you may want to look into campsites for short term.
College areas seem to be a good bet for rooms to rent on a weekly basis and often are furnished in advance.
Hostels are not as popular in the US but they do exist and are very inexpensive.

Libraries are good for free internet service, I assume you have a laptop you travel with?

I do wish you luck on finding a spot to stay, if I can think up anything I will let you know.

We both agreed originally on my only staying with her for two weeks.

The two weeks are up.......its time to move on.

Thats the operative phrase - its none of my business.  Its none of anyones business! I dont know you so I dont dislike you and hold you no malice so take this in the spirit its intended - advice from a man who has been around the block a few time so to speak and who usually has "port calls" end favorably enough that I can make repeat visits to practically any previous port of call.

What I have been seeing / hearing through the grapevine is a cross between a badly written soap opera, a three ring circus, and a royal hungarian clusterfuck. My advice would be to THINK long and hard before releasing the next chapter in this saga. Think of it in terms of "risk benefit analysis" and ask yourself "Before I push this button is this going to make it better or worse?" This thread is a classic example - Is this a real estate web site? Do you see any other "I need housing" threads on here? No, so the thread is not likely to generate you a lead on accomadations it is simply a way of getting the message out of "Guess what the latest chapter in the drama is..." and broadcasting shit that is NOT our business...  Likewise, is this a site for insurance professionals and civil lawyers? No, so your legal questions about a certain incident are not likely to be handled properly and all you will get is "opinions" , which are like assholes - they all stink, are full of shit, and everyone has one.  So that thread did little except say to a crowd who didnt need to know - guess whos personal property I had a boo boo with ? Again, none of our business...

If it were me, with my cock caught in this particular ringer, I would IMMEDIATELY stamp the entire matter "Top Secret - For Originating Unit Only". I would then go through a list of the recent threads I started and I would contact the ever helpful Mod 11 to explain that I must have been suffering from some type of Floridian mosquito borne illness that caused a high fever and altered my mental state and judgement and I would ask her to delete the threads that essentially cover "Guess who I made out with under the bleachers" , "How do I know if a girl likes me" , "Guess whos car I wrecked" , "Would you be pissed if I wrecked your car" . "Im being picked on by the mean girl", and "Help I need a place to stay"....

You aint making it better and ya aint helping yerself bro... Honestly, if anyone from this board came to Houston for two weeks, or if I went to them, nobody would even know it happened.... One of Australias great philosophers - "Doug Coughlin" famously said "Coughlin's Law - Never tell tales about a woman shell hear you no matter how far away she is!"   Ive been getting laid since middle school, and even then I didnt come to class doing the rocky on the steps dance while singing "What a feeling!"

Status: offline 		I lived in my town for about 5 years, moved away for 10, then have been back for about 14 years.  In all of that time, I had no idea that our local University rented out their dorm rooms in the summer, until I read it in the newspaper just the other day.  They advertise to groups that have business on campus (like an orchestra competition), but the article went on to say that you don't have to have a connection to the University to rent a room.  The rooms come furnished, including linens.

You might check into that in your area.
