Shortly after that movie came out, Richard Harris appeared on the Mike Douglas talk show and was asked how they came up with that scene. Richard stated that he was wearing a camouflaged rigging, but his nipples were actually pulled taught. They needed his natural reactions to the pain of feeling his nipps pulled off.

But, yes, the bulk of his weight was carried by the rigging; no Photoshop or similar CGI effects in 1969 or '70.

(Nah, it'll be aluminum in reality. I did pull the cooling fins a bit shorter - the car hit a bump on THc's fine and well-maintained roads and some of the fins caught in the pothole and didn't come with the rest of the engine... I was lucky that I heard it and killed the engine as quickly as I did.)

Not a prob Insty... I was just curious as load measured in IPs v. files served. Not that I was looking for the IPs themselves... and then comes the geeky chatter: what server, what config, yadda yadda yadda... It'd help pad things out a bit and improve the encyclopaedic nature of Arrrrrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhhh!

Status: offline 		No, the part going through me is real - that's a 0ga 440 stainless steel CBR...

I took a picture of a lock from Kai's Clip Art (wow, that's old) and sized it to match, then cloned the steel hasp (proper term?) onto my jewelry. Then merged layers.

The lock is larger than it was in the original... and I hit it with a bit of blur to simulate the focal length of the other picture.

I think that's all I did to it, beyond some basic color correction.
