Frankly trapped, I think you express yourself quite clear and all you write I have found quite legible

I think that your quotes are just fine.  You attributed everything, so that idiot can just go jump in a lake. 

And at least it was SOMEONE elses poetry/lyrics.  As RAH said:  A poet who reads his verse in public may have other nasty habits.
 
I think that in this day and age, that could be changed to "posts" instead of "reads".

Oop, I did miss something, thought I had.

She called me at work today.  Her doc thinks she'll need another 7-10 days of recovery time before she can drive safely; her knees are better but her hands are still swollen and arthritic.  *mutters something vile and incomprehensible, then forces a smile*

The waiting game is starting to get my hackles up, but I can't make her get better any faster, so I'm sitting and waiting, and hoping she gets better.

Have I mentioned I hate being in a situation where I can't work out a solution?  I know, I know, the solution is to wait...but after all that's gone on I still want to do more than just be a support.  Still, it's all I can do; so I have been soothing to her and tried making a few suggestions to make the wait easier for her.  It's driving her nuts, too.

I promise I won't lecture you about patience! Especially since that is a virtue I sorely lack also. I send good thoughts your way and hope that her flare up ends soon and everything works out.

Sorry to hear about the wait, Lumus.  I am not sure what happened with your young lady (it is probably in these pages somewhere), but I hope that she recovers soonest.  I will share my Cadburry chocolates with you that I got in my christmas basket today, if it will help.
