The more people we get dressed up, the more there is to go around for everyone and the less bickering there would be over the "last" post.

That would be a nice b'day present for girly, I think.

Status: offline 		so, here's what happened to me today:  i'm driving in Mississippi on a US highway--is anybody else hearing "Dueling Banjos"?--that has no shoulder, no place to pull off & i see a truck ahead of me that's going slower than me...since there's that other lane there to my left, i pull out to pass...as i'm pulling alongside his trailer, i hear a big BANG!  i look over & the window in the passenger side door is exploding inward...so i get up near his tractor & try to get his attention by blowing my air horn...he speeds up & i try the air horn some more & flash my lights whereupon he speeds up even more till by the time i'm on the phone reporting this to my company, i can no longer see his butt...so here i sit in the walmart parking lot where it's 83 degrees with 145% humidity & a plastic garbage bag where the window used to be...

the town i'm in is the home of B B King, who apparently only come home once a year, in June, so i didn't get to meet him...i did however meet the mayor who assured me that i was perfectly safe sleeping in a truck that's missing a window & therefore can't be locked...i am surrounded by tire thumpers just in case....

how did your day go???

perhaps for you...for me it would definitely be dressing "up"...i usually dress as a truck driver.....

Under normal conditions you would be correct Aylee. But since my mind has decided to go topsy turvy on me the past half hour or so, up is down. So, in my state, I am correct too.

(please don't try to figure it out... I can't explain...)

Lil', I'm pretty sure you'll be OK. If I were the one in your place, I'd probably have more to worry about, being that's down in the BanjoLand.

All kidding aside, please be safe out there. Tire thumpers are great; I hope you don't have to even think about using them. Is the PD going to be nice and roll an extra patrol or two your way more often during the night than they normally would?

(I'm sure you'll be fine... your rig still rolls if need be...)

But that offer is only good until midnight tonight. (Did we ever figure out who's midnght? Hawai'i maybe?). After that, it's back to the normal ruckus for you.
