ok my Master's button down white dress shirt, a push up bra that is a half brea (black), the shirt is unbuttoned way too low, and im wearing my georgous collar, and the sandles that have a 4 inch heel silver with lost of sparkles........that is what im wearing tonight no more no less (well maybe less a bit later)

PTS and IMP thanks for covering did we win George and there is a new "win" or is george still the target, damn if i wasnt head over heals with Master i would take Geourge instead! damn he looks good in a tux, but even better when he is wearing nothing!!!!

it just keeps getting better...the one thing that i forgot about was the MS bugs, so i didn't get much sleep after they starting using me as their personal feeding trough...i set 2 alarms so that i could be sure to wake up at O-dark-thirty but when i heard them, i heard 3 alarms, so i turn on the light to see why the truck is screaming at me, but i have no light...yup!! the altenator went & the truck is screaming in its death throes...mind you it's 3am in bum fuck mississippi...the really nice woman in breakdown hunts down a mechanic in bum fuck arkansas & gives authorization for a new alternator to be installed, not just a jump to charge the batteries so i can limp it into a shop somewhere...so now i have no window & no air conditioning & the bugs are thrilled & called in all their relatives & friends for the feast...sigh...my life is just one series of adventures...

note to self: if you can hear the whine of the engine over the speakers, this is not a good thing...also if you plug in your inverter & it alarms & won't power the computer, this is also not a good thing...if the engine runs all night instead of shutting off like it's supposed to, this is another clue that something's wrong...& last but not least, if the voltmeter looks like it's running a little low, it probably is!!!!

If it's a company truck, I'm thinking they should be swapping out the entire tractor and not just an alternator. But that's just me.

What a frickin' PITA of a night you had. However the tractor gets fixed, I hope it's done so as quickly as possible so you can get on your way and leave it all behind.

yay!! i made it to the delivery & only 5 hours late..thanks for all the hugs & well wishes, i really appreciate it guys & girls...

i don't want a new tractor, sappa, this one has been very good to me so far...only 2 major problems in nearly a year...but if it keeps breaking down now, they'll trade it out in a heartbeat, since it's so old...the only reason they haven't yet is that i keep telling them i want to keep it...

i did find a pretty wonderful small town with generally nice & happy people in it, so that's the bonus...while i was waiting for the repair guy, i was making up ways it could have been worse...such as, instead of mosquitos, it coulda been a pack of rabid dogs...or alligators...lol

btw, if any of you are going to be in this area Sept 13, B B King will be here for the dedication of the B B King Museum.......

Well both will nickle and dime you to death. Only difference is the newer model isnt as hard to fix and the parts availability are better. Damned if you do....damned if you dont.

Reminds me of the time I hated, absolutely hated to finally get rid of my Suzuki Samarai. I had the most fun with that vehicle than I have ever had with anything else. It would go anywhere. I even recreated the (in)famous TV commercial where those things climbed up and down stairs of a building.

I kept pouring money into the repairs and didn't think twice about it until I had reviewed my at the end of the year. When I saw how much I had spent I realized that I could have had a new vehicle, with full warranty, for less than what I was really paying a month (and I still had other things to pay for, like a transfer case rebuild).

My pragmatic side won out and I did eventually sell it to a junker. I got $25.00 for it, but a ton of sweet memories.

Do I miss the truck? You betcha! Do I miss the money pit aspect? Nope.

I am just lucky enough that the vehicle I have doesnt do that. In almost 3 years...Ive maybe put 700.00 in it and only bought it for 1100.000 so Id ay Im ahead.
