Status: offline 		i hate it that so many are having such serious problems. Can i share something? Last thanksgiving i was doing all the cooking to take to a friends. I was spastic all day...having so much to do. Jim was working a daylight shift so it was more difficult because i had an active toddler to care for. I put the baby gates up and left the LoudOne in the living room to play by himself. The more i did the more their was to do.  I was listening to the radio...a favorite country station..and the DJ said he was aware of what the cooks go through on a holiday and he said "It does not matter...let it go!" It seemed he was talking just to me.
I looked into the living room at this tiny child...all alone...and realized the holiday prep really did not matter and i was ignoring that which did. I went in and sat on the floor with him and was rewarded with a huge smile.
Later on that day the kitchen caught on fire, as if to reinforce the point, and the entire dinner was ruined. But that smile will live forever.

The point is i had lost sight of the important things and allowed myself to get occupied with trival matters.

I agree completely, ignore the trivial stuff & concentrate on what matters MOST. You did the right thing..............it pains me to admit it, but you really did.

i left the litter box cleaning go until today for that reason. My feeling...if the world ends it is NOT ending with clean litter boxes.

It made me cry too, Aylee. Reading the part of the poor little um sitting all by his lonesome while Moms was off gallavanting, trying to destroy their home. Poor LoudOne.........................

Status: offline 		Well, I have gotten the same looks from Butterhead.  She stands there at the baby gate looking SO pitiful when I am in the kitchen doing something. 


Well. . . until she decides that it is the perfect time to try and get into something that she is not suppose to.  She has actually MOVED furniture to get to things.

I swear the LoudOne and ButterHead must practice those sad little looks in the mirror. But, what they are really doing is making sure we are totally occupied before they cause chaos.
