ORIGINAL: Gwynvyd Well I believe in you SF... If you put your mind and heart to it.. you will do just fine in quitting.. just remember even if you forget, or even backslide.. do not throw up your hands and give up. You can still make a fresh start of quitting.. the moment afterwords. Dont put it off to a Monday, or any time in the future.. make it *that* moment. Procrastination is the worst in trying to change a behavior. Tell your sis you need her support in this, and her encouragement. If she can not do that find a friend(s) who can. A lot of folks have quit.. and know what you are going through. Lean on them for help. It wont always be easy.. but in the long run you will be so happy you did. *many hugs* Gwyn I know my sister wants me to quit, she is a non smoker and the apt we live in is closet size. But she isnt a big support system but pretty the only one I havefor in your face support. It doesnt help that Im alone all day with little outside contact. Positive reinforcement especially the first week from someone else could help. Like if you feel like it, wait 2 hours and hopefully get past that need to smoke period. Even talking to my dr he said that have very severe anxiety disorder sometimes makes it next to impossible to stop as the anxiety increases melds with the I need a fix, tight chest, harder to breathe, ect.....then its panic galore Im not backing out but Im beginning to think that knocking myself out with xanax for several days might be an option......sleeping = no smoking I hate that Im in an empty room and dont have local enough friends to get me eye to eye for encouragment. I need this for my health I already highly suspect COPD and/or emphysema its 2 of the many conditions my father died of along with every other smoking related disease. Smoking literly killed him. GROANNNNNNNNNNNNN
