Status: offline 		Kali, even as someone still studying to be a therapist i cannot imagine saying such insensitive things!  the point is not that the patient was at risk and then followed through as was suspected he would; it's that you tried to help him and despite everything you did things turned out badly.  it's a shame he couldn't be helped.  don't blame yourself, i'm sure you did everything humanly possible to try to help him.  sometimes it's just not enough.  your co worker is a moron!

Status: offline 		I just wanted to write to all of you amazing kind hearted sincere and wonderful people that helped me so much last night and today with your words of wisdom, support and beautiful Cmails. I can't even begin to verbalize how much more at peace you made me feel, I am the kind of girl that has a hard time opening up and making friends and you guys made me feel so loved and it meant more to me than you will ever know. Master read it all too, and wanted me to thank you for taking such an interest in his girl and being so supportive. I feel much better today and I a sending love and hugs and sincere thanks to all of you! Please know that your words and thoughts really do make a difference and I am eternally greatful. Master once again was amazing today and I still wonder how I got such a wonderful man and now I feel like I have friends too  that I can lean on. More tears now, but they are the loved variety. Bless you all for caring for a stranger in need.

Status: offline 		I hate it when my day at worked started with a crappy email from my boss asking why I'm not able to get everything done before I leave for the day.  It was shitty and snarky, and I didn't even reply to it.  However, I do love it that the office mgr. said that we would do a time sheet for all the stuff I'm being given to do in a day's time, and how long it takes me to do it, and we'll give it to her at the end of the week.  I said that sounded wonderful and proceeded to write down all the stuff I did from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., when I left.  My boss did look freaked out when I was still there late, because she always leaves at 3:30 p.m. because she gets there really early.  I said, "Well, it needs to get done, and this is kind of usual for me."  She seemed really stunned when I showed her all the stuff that I got just today, including 144 documents that needed to be logged in and put in their files, along with 141 checks that had to be logged into their files, as well as put into the spreadsheet for the bank deposit.  I really can't wait for her to see that I'm being given about 60 hours work to get done in a 40 hour week.  She told me that she wanted to know if I was getting overwhelmed so she can help me.  I never thought I was overwhelmed, but considering I'm doing the work of almost 2 people (our intern is gone), I guess it could get overwhelming.  If she wouldn't send me shitty emails, I'd be just fine.  I get my shit done.  I also reminded her that I was gone for 10 days, and had to get caught up last week in 3 days because she was freaking out that it wouldn't get caught up.  I don't work well in panic mode.  That's why I tell her to let me get it done without being micromanaged.  We'll see.  By the end of this week, I will have every phukking thing off my desk, the shelves, and it will be more than caught up, it will be done in advance.  Just wait and see...

Status: offline 		They never consider the amount of stuff you get done as they are dropping more on your desk DRH. Kudos to you for holding up under the pressure. She has no idea what a gem she has in you, but I suspect she will have a clue by the end of the week.

Now if it would only show up in your paycheck

Status: offline 		Thanks, poen.  I hope that she will be amazed at how much I juggle.  Some days aren't easy, and I don't get it perfectly done.  But, I perservere, with a smile.  I refuse to let them know they have irked me. 

Again, I thank you.  I like doing a good job, I like it when the attorneys don't even have to think about our cases because they are being taken care of by very good staff.  I like being on a good team, knowing I'm playing well, too.

Now about that paycheck thing...
