Angel...ALL my hopes and prayers for your Sis Outlaw..hopefully they caught it early and if they did, survival rate is excellent, though it is extremely emotionally hard on every one. I will light a candle for her and for you as well...

OK..now for my hates today...

I HATE MY ENDOCRINOLOGIST! Just once I would like for him to give me GOOD news. Thyroid Levels too low is causing weight gain and a falling hair zone (shup), Increased my insulin AGAIN because it is in conflict with my thyroid replacement med which he ALSO increased, added a High Blood Pressure med to counteract some of the damage the stupid thyroid meds are teasing into being cause now I have albumin in my damned urine indicating some kidney damage occuring along with the diabetic retinopathy, neurologies and stupid balance problem. I WANNA SEE MY BODIES WARRANTY!!!

sigh...at least that's off my chest..now how the HELL do I tell Master?

That is just so awesome... *smiles*

We were foster parents ( my mum and I) and you are right.. it will break you ( esp. your heart) to go through the agentcies.

I am not going to detail the horror story we went through with a new born, who got returned to his crack head mother after her being in rehab for only a month, and him ending up in a dumpster.

The foster system is so broken.. I just wish it was better for the children. *sighs*

The adoptive system is also broken.. look at those folks who cgaed their adoptive children, and wouldnt let them outside. *sighs*

It is such a scary world out there for the weeins. It breaks my heart.

So many people who would be wonderful parents cant be... and those who shouldnt own even a fish are spawning like mad.

It would take a lot of soul searching to be a surogate mother... But if I would do it at all it would be for them. It is so sweet how they light up everytime my big ol belly waddles in the door... or when we talk about baby stuff. I just love the both of them so much.

Dont let Soft hear you say that... she is like knitter supreme. I got the coolest kick ass knitted slippers from her for my Birthday this year. They are made from purple suede like yarn. They are simply nummy.

I love the idea of a prayer quilt. That is so awesome.

I totally understand fire and ice, My mom and I used to butt heads horribly, We couldn't be together for very long with out some tiff starting, and sometimes One rubs the other seriously wrong and both of us end up shouting. My poor Dad ended up being the peace maker, a lot of those times, cause after the fight either one of us may have saught his solace.

We still don't get along very well, but it's better than it used to be lol.

That is soooo true. Attitude *is* everything. It kept my mom going when she was terminal for 7 years. She knew she was gonna kick deaths ass, and boy did she. They gave her 1 month, she took 7 years. Hell, she outlived her Cadiologist like she said she would. My poor Aunt Pauline did not have the same mental outlook, and she did not hang in there. She gave in. (her damn kids didnt help either)

There are a lot of medical studies that show how an positive outlook and an I will beat this attitude adds years onto a persons live, and improves their over all general health.

If you get the chance.. read Celestine Prophecy and The Tenth Insight. The Tenth insight details how healing can work. It kept my mom going ontop of her attitude.

I have found them both to be profoundly helpful.
