Nope (good idea though). They emailed me back just now with instructions to do it online. i'm so tired i'm not going to do it until tomorrow.

In a pinch i could have gone to the library and copied the disk onto my flash drive.

I hate that my son announced today that he has to play both the jv and the varsity basketball games tomorrow. They know he's been out sick all week and doesn't have the energy for this.

Besides, I hate spending four hours sitting on the bleachers.

Im lazy to so there is some I love and I hate moments.

I love that I got to talk to linnea by phone...is was like talking to a old friend and playing catch up
I love that all in all it wasnt too bad a day

I hate that my brain is not firing proberly and I feel disjointed mind wise due to a med change gone bad but has been corrected as Im still in the build up stage. I cant concentrate, my ocd is being odd, it take forever it seem to answer a post because the misfiring is sending wrong signals but read back and cant see the mistakes then Im in edit hell...because half the words intended are randomly replaced words that have nothing to do with the sentence, which spell check is useless because the wrong words are spelled correctly. It makes me feel that Im out of control of simple things. My sounds triggers are driving me nuts, certain sounds, volume, or noises coming from differnt directions make me almost wish I was deaf or at least partially. I spend half my times looking for thing I just had in my hand earlier because I quickly forget where I set it down.

But I know for a fact that everyone will help make things easy for me by being such a loving bunch.

If anyone see me drawing back, or finding a not so busy area, seem like a deer in the headlight, I would appreciate if they say come on lets get a breath of air...or kill another lung cell. It usually doesnt take a long time to recover and I have my make it leave faster meds on hand.

This is the biggest step I have made in YEARS, so many in one place but thankfully I know that everyone will be loving and those with wee problems will look after of everyone else.

I do have thing worked out for the Event of the Year but will be forced to play alot by ear depending on and afraid to commit to some of the events planned , might be no problem, might not...I have no way of knowing till the last minute. I think I can attend and if anything triggers that usually I cant step out and regroup and rejoin.

Or may surpise me and I can just do everything without a hitch....Im going for that thought in mind, I have learned how to trick my mind.

Okay that was a little tmi I dont usually put that much out but it something anyone that goes to the wedding will understand if I am not my usually michievous self....luckily I have a feeling it will be a friends reunion and nothing will rear its head.

Despite all that I have no misgivings and totally stoked about getting there and meeting everyone.

Sage, we understand. And we will do our best to pay attention and help you. Now, it won't be easy, because we're a rowdy bunch, but we'll try. I was surprised when you said you were going, because I know you've talked about your agoraphobia and panic and all, but I'm very proud of you. You're correct, this is a HUGE step for you.

I had a thought... would a set of headphones with white noise playing help you? Help you when the sounds seems like they're coming from everywhere and you wish you were deaf?

i hate when i look at the clock ralize it is now after midnight and i have to be up had breakfast, shower, dressed and bible in car to be at church (50min drive) by nine am....meaning i get about 6 an a half hours sleep.....not bad....but im not even tired yet grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I have no doubt there will be plenty of people to keep me level, thats why I decided to jump in and come.

Usually stepping away from it does the trick or a nibble of my lifesaving xannies. I just have to reground myself.
Its weird certain tones or differnt sounds will trigger but conversations even rowdy ones are in the same sound group.

Luckily I have mind tricks that work, or just stepping out for a smoke and fresh air.... luckily the anxiety attacks are short lived.

It also tends to lessen when Im going on a twip...never figured that one out but it does. The rocking of the train is soothing and the less stressful way of traveling.

I am starting to overcome some of the bad stuff just by living in nyc imagine that. Living with others over the past sorta enabled me.... Here I have to get out to run errands, get things for my sister when her RA is raging. Even managed to go through the stress of becoming legal again as for as ID and getting disability metro card on my own.
I was still using a state id that expired in 2001 LOL

My progress without the help of a therapist is more progressive than with the help. Long as I have meds which I never fail to take I can be just below level and still do things that I couldnt before.

I hate that I have been letting my hair grow for the past year, and today, I let a friend of mine "trim" it for me... It turns out that she has NO IDEA how much an inch is.... I think I lost about 3 inches. I can't even pull it up anymore... :( But at least it grows fast...

sage, would a pair of innocuous ear plugs do the trick too? when noises are too loud, pop them in and just let a companion know so they won't think you're ignoring?

Angel that would do the trick except I cant stand things in my ears. LOL

Im pretty sneaky about my attacks, and use controlled breathing or quietly slip of to reground. I will dose up just prior to things which makes a huge difference and so used to the medication you wouldnt know I took one.

I having a feeling my fret last night was just that....nothing more. I havent been so excited about a trip in god knows when and its pretty much overriding everything right now, even misfiring brain cells.....tho sometimes I wish the cells would learn how to shoot straight

In my mind I not going to meet strangers, Im going to meet old friends like a reunion. That makes a huge difference.
Chances are I will be very comfy and be my regular michievous self.

If I get nervous I will just turn everyone into furbabies like I do on the streets of New York, problem solved.

Now you are my hero...I simply adore his music.
My then b/f mentioned below and I went to PA to visit his family...we had John Tesh cranked as high as it would go and was literly rocking down the road to his music. LOL

Steel mentioned George Winston in that same vein I love Jim Brickman he turns a piano into a work of art. Went to a concert in Dallas on Valentines day when his Valentine album was just released. Had a dear friend visiting plus my then b/f on either side, it was heavenly. He has actually wrote alot of songs for sesame street along with more than familiar jingles and did a montage of them which was great.

Pianos and stringed instuments like violins and cellos and bass, send me to a happy place.

I have saved your link so I can listen when dear old sis isnt driving me bonkers since Im stuck with her for the weekend. She is one stubborn person and a TV and Movie fanatic, whereas alot of time the tv is just on for the noise and much lower in volume. Or sleeping since I was wide awake at 4am this morning.
