I know, Bear, I know. It just bugs the crap out of me that friends and family are holding my decision against me and refusing to talk with me. I mean, I was 42 years old and been divorced for over 7 years! Did they think I was just going to hang around backwoods, rural Idaho doing literally nothing for the rest of my life?

(Ok, so maybe I would have but I met someone who is now the most important person in my life. Yet they can't give a reason as to why I shouldn't have come here. Except that I met him "online".... Phooey to that baloney!)

No, they:

- Hog the computer and printer all day and night, IM'ing friends
- Neglect homework for said "computer time".... "I'm doing my homework, Mom, honest!"
- Eat you out of house, home and property
- Blare what they call "music" from headphones or speakers at all hours of the day and night
- Hike your cellphone bill to $1000 and then say they didn't do it
- Then lose the 4th cellphone you just got them because they were out late last night and they can't remember where they had it last
- Bang the car up because they didn't look before turning the corner. Into the police car.
- Wear skimpy or ratty clothes and say that that's they're best outfit
- Have more piercings and tattoos than they can remember. Or count.
- Hang out with the "cool" kids or try to. The ones who have been in Juvi a number of times and have a record longer than OJ Simpson's.....

Rain...i lost a few "family" members when i married my first husband, 30 yrs my senior and disabled. I did not ask for their blessing (why would i?) or their approval, but i did feel i had the right to have their support. And ya know what? I do not miss them at all.

Heck, my family booted me off the Christmas card list when I started dating men of color. I wormed my way back into their good graces only to be booted out again by my MOTHER who's feelings were hurt because she wasn't invited to Hershey Park in July! She who HATES walking around in the heat, won't ride anything stopped talking to me even on my birthday & Holidays for 2 years because I told her it was just for my sister, her kids & me w/my grandum.

Now that you mention it, maybe that's what pissed them all off. I just did it and said "oh, I'm moving to Canada and getting married." I didn't ask a single person's advice, including my mother's. I knew it was right for me and right for Lumus. Considering our ages, I didn't think I needed to ask anyone's permission.

(The only person that really mattered was my father and he's in 3rd stage alcohol dementia and dying. He still thinks I'm married to my first husband...)

I have a few close friend that are in kinda huff one admitted jealousy that they couldnt make me happy.
But I reminded them how much I had done to make them happen and well, that dont they think maybe just maybe I should get a turn too.

That kinda shut them up....

Whereas my family is all happy for me.
Go figure.

I hate it that yall got so much to hate, and I cant catch up just yet.

I hate it that today was a day where all I wanted was Tequila, a loaded pistol with extra bullets, and a lil teeny drink umbrella to wear in my hair.

I hate it that I also had to add an ice cream sundae to that list, thus ruining the bad ass pissed off image I had.

I hate it that I have so much rage in me, I could probably get into a fist fight with someone right now and not feel an ounce of pain till Wednesday.

I hate it that I had the hangover from hell Sunday. Someone remind me to never do a power hour again while drinkin home made peach brandy?

I hate it when this old man yells & snaps at me & is nice as pie to the sister who can't take care of him!! I just told him to stop yelling at me. He agreed, but he'll forget again.
