this girl is cleaning the freezer and refrigerator tonight.
Does anyone want to help?
Before starting....WASH HANDS.

Discard all expired or unuseable food.
Make list any staples that are low.
Wash all interior surfaces with a solution of baking soda (2 Tbs) and warm water(1 qt).
Replace burned out light bulbs.
Wash all door gaskets with a detergent solution.
Vacuum condenser coils.
Make sure drain line is clear.

Now, Wash Hands and use sanitizer....again.

Let's sit down for a few minutes and watch the West Virginia vs. Cincinnati men's basketball game.

this girl made lean Beef and Barley Soup today with tomato, jalapeno pepper, onions and cilantro. A large bowl of this hearty soup is 4 pts.

Now... i have not cooked much with jalapeno pepper before. i wanted the soup to have a kick so that's why i used jalapeno instead of green bell peppers. I cut up the jalapeno and removed the seeds and ribs like i do with the bell pepper. i tasted the jalapeno and it didn't seem hot at all. Then i remembered that someone told me the heat was in the ribs.
***warning*** DO NOT PUT A PIECE OF JALAPENO RIB IN YOUR MOUTH BY ITSELF!!! Yes, i was digging for the sour cream pretty quickly.

Remember to WASH YOUR HANDS before and after preparing and eating food.
