The mommie is good. Mama is passed out, while LB has his midnight snack, and I have mine. (currently on an Orange food kick~ carrots, oranges, nectarines) Mmmmm beta carotene

Dropping lbs like crazy that I need to drop... eating healthy as ever... still taking vitamins, and drinking lots of water.

got a job *WOOT*
bummed my minister and his partner are leaving state. Really bummed, *sighs* I am glad he called to tell me personally though. I finally told him what Soft and I had been talking about for months. It made him so happy.

We love them both so much.. and they would make awesome parents..... I have offered to surrogate for them if they so decide to have children. Jeff and Soft are really close.. and he would sit there and listen to every gushy pregnancy detail with such a look on his face. It was so sweet. We know how badly they want a baby.

other then that taking it one day at a time.

LB is going to be blessed in the next week or so. *happy smiles* and be offically introduced to the church. Last week we went so we could meet a shaman our minister is friends with. He of course got dotted on by every lil old lady there.
He did so good too. just looked around quietly or slept. BB got to brag about LB. My Junie was so cute when she saw him.

WOOT! on the job, yeah!! I know how hard that is, Asher was looking for a job for months on end with rejection after rejection, it was hard on him. I knew he would get a job though. He never does anything that he doesn't complete/accomplish. It's one of the many things i love about him. :)

Glad soft is getting sleep and that the little one is so well behaved, mine was a terror anytime I took her out of the house. :D (someone kept saying she was just like me - fuckers!)

So glad and happy for you both and I could never burp the baby either. Although laying her on top of the boobage and bouncing her lightly would usually make her belch like a little fire breathing dragon, lol..... I'd always wake the poor thing laughing. He's such a lucky boy to be born into such a wonderful and loving family!

I hate that I have to go to a meeting tomorrow morning with my boss/big boss... it's supposed to be about scheduling, and the problems with the 'favorite co-worker'.

I'm hoping thats the case.

There's a voice in my head saying there's a chance I might get fired.

After 5.5 yrs, though, if I DO get fired, I should be able to get some decent unemployment benefits.

Surrogacy is indeed a beautiful thing. I have seen it happen and down successfully without the one that was surrogate having problems afterward no misgivings ect... I will say it takes a very strong person to be able to carry a baby for 9 months and remember that wiggling thing inside is not yours that your just the oven. Pregnant women tends to get very attached to that baby growing.

I know this because my daughter agreed to be a surrogate for my best friend. She spent the last two months with us so my friend was able to be there for kicks, sonos, Dr checkups, etc. The only problem my daughter had was it was very reminiscent of Gwen and her 2 months of braxton hicks and her hip joint was turned not allowing her to hold her leg at the right angle. The hospital was aware of the situation so they arranged a separate room for the parents, while my daughter recovered in another room. Although she did come in and see the wee one in the hospital and also once home did ask to feed it once. That was it, 2 days later she as on a train back to her partner who had been out of the country on business.

Neither party has had any regrets....well except me to a small degree. I have biological granddaughter that I can acknowledge as such. But I know she will grown up and know of her other family and how she came into the world as a precious gift for her mother and father.

Gwen if you want a more detailed run down on what it takes and how it really is, just send me a message. I have been there from the beginning to now and still see mom and child now 3 on a regular basis.

My minster/friend leaving really sucks ass. He was supposed to do our wedding. *sighs*

I will have to see if he will fly down for it now. I am going to miss seeing him so much. I hate hate hate that they are moving... but the economy in Fla sucks ass.. and if you are gay you are less then a second class citizen here.

He would not be able to adopt a baby here. ( part of why they are moving)
