Sweetie, that was me on Sunday. And it's still affecting me, I've been down and depressed ever since. I had the nightmare from hell and couldn't stop crying Sunday. Considering that I'm the type of person who never cries except for certain movies, it was a startling change to see in me for Lumus.

You know how to reach me if you want to talk....hugs and smooches to ya!

(And a fresh, dry supply of Kleenex!)

Status: offline 		I hate the fact that the weather so far this week has SUCKED!  I was planning to start taking Butterhead to the wading pool this week.  Got her a swimsuit, a cover thingy, the special little swimmer things.  Yesterday it never reached 80 degrees, and TODAY it is storming.  In fact we have a "severe thunderstorm warning."  It is raining cats and dogs!  (Be sure you do not step on the poodles.) 

I also hate that when I did the updates on the puter, it put on IE8 and then I couldn't open IE at ALL, so I had to do a system restore.  Grrrr.  I did not even WANT IE8.  But at least it is fixed now.

That is not a nightmare, it is a night terror. The difference between them, is one is short lived (Nightmare) you have it, you wake up and can shake it off. The other (Night terror) is just as you described. It causes real emotonal damage to you while you try to settle down from it. It can bring on physical/body memories as well. Which just plain suck.

On a side note: Cali, before I had the brain surgery, I turned into a completely different person. All I felt was rage. My personality changed overnight. It was awful to live through for me and unbearable to live through for my puppy at the time. It DOES change who you are when there is something wrong with your brain. Just make sure that if he smokes, to let the doctors know prior to surgery. Got to keep that oxygen flowing to the optic nerves! <Hugs>

Status: offline 		I swear some people need to be sterilized at puberty. I'm washing dishes and I hear the sounds of a cat caterwauling in pain right underneath my kitchen window. I dash outside and there's four of the local UMs holding a cat down trying to set fire to it with a disposable lighter. The cat escapes as I scuffle with the elder to get the lighter off them.

Off to the parents and the guy's not just giving it the large with me but also trying to pull the race card, promising to report me to the housing estate manager for racial abuse. WTF? Since when is telling him that his kids are trying to set fire to someone's cat racial abuse?

Didn't manage to speak with the owner as it's late here and she's an elderly lady but be sure first thing in the morning I'll be there to let her know she needs to keep her cat indoors.

And we're talking teens here.
