Actually, Rain, I'm looking at the Orlando area in FL, or the Huntsville, AL area. I have apps in both places, to name 2, and they are a pretty good sized metropolitan area that I can find a security job or something along those lines to tide me over. And the flights out of those places aren't going to cost a right arm and left leg if I travel for the other places for interviews. On the trip out, I got a tranq from my parent's vet. Forgot what it's called, but it doesn't knock the kittehs out completely, just takes the edge off. Once they got used to the vehicle noise and such, they were actually fine. I only used it the first day.......as long as they could see out the window, they were fine. But they won't be able to see in the moving truck, the seats are below the window. I was in a pick up when I came out, I just put pillows under the carriers, on top of the other stuff in the cab. By the end of the second day, I had all 3 in one carrier....that's what they wanted....of course, now I'll need at least 3, they're bigger now......Smooch and Boo in one, and Squeaks in another, with KB in the third. Unless I can convince Squeaks to ride w/KB, but she's been picked on by the 2 boys, that she's afraid of him, too. I'd hate to put them in one box and have her panic.......she's got a good 10 lbs on KB right now. I stop at night and let them out in the hotel, and stop and let them out at least once during the day. I get the funniest looks in rest areas walking cats on a leash!
