Quite possible, HPH..... Mr. Smarties was having a wee bit of a meltdown on Thursday evening and decided to see if he could do a long pass with a toy, me being the target. Did you know that thumbs were NOT made to go in certain directions at high velocities? With a heavy weight shoving them back? At this time, doc says possible torn rotator cuff (shup, holly, i KNOW you said that months ago!) severely jammed if not broken thumb, whiplash from jerking back so fast, possible C-7 trauma and we can't forget the ever wonderful bruising, stiffness and pain from all the associated damage.

Ya, it appears I fucked this one up royally.

You need to keep that shoulder relaxed if it is a new tear to the rotator cuff, no movement or you will be lounging on an operating room table. I know it is the hand that hurts, but it is the shoulder that poses the long term injury.

my world.. well, overall, life is good (I'm relatively healthy and I have people that love me and who I love in return). We'll leave it at that, shall we? LOL

No, I rarely have fun stuff planned for weekends.. stoopid work schedule! HOWEVER.. on Tuesday, I'm taking a week off to go to WA and go camping with my mom and stepdad :)

Doing pretty good here. I need to get a menu and grocery list done up. Not that we do not have any food in the house, I just have no written out plan right now for it. *snort* I do not have any plans for this weekend, but at the end of the month there is a sale in KC that a friend and I plan to go to.

The other-half is doing well, although his sleep scheduale is getting more and more messed up. I think that I am going to have to do something about that here soon. Butterhead is a delight as always. Not only is running through the mud puddles the MOST FUN EVER OMG!!!! But she finds sitting in them to be rewarding as well. The other mommies at the park were none to pleased at her encouragement to other children to join her. (She was already wet up to her knees. . . getting wet up to her butt was REALLY going to make that much of a difference?) She is still fascinated with her farm and farm animals, however I keep finding the farmer shoved under the couch or the cushions. She has NO use for the farmer. I have no idea what to make of that.

I think that it would be fun at some point to get Butterhead, the Loud One, the Princess, Mr Smarties, and any of the others gathered for a play date. Besides, that would give the mom's time to chat and stuff. I even have a secret weapon to keep them ALL entertained for a bit. A Dragontales DVD. For some reason unknown to me, the dragons create a calm quiet over the living room while little people are sucked into the story. Oh well, it is better than Thomas the Tank Engine, which I loathe!
