Status: offline 		Aqua, You'll be fine. I would suggest that you go to a spice house and get yourself some crystalized sugar ginger. It really helps me during flights. You're gonna have a blast. And after you meet everyone, you will go back again and again and again!

Mmmm.... candied ginger. BTW - if you put that stuff in pancakes the way you would strawberries or other berries, it tastes REALLY good. It seems like it would be gross but I really like it.

Status: offline 		I discovered this when I was trying to find a way to make pancakes more "manly" and adventurous. We were hosting an Indiana Jones marathon and I like to make pancakes for guests at midnight.

Status: offline 		I admit that my very first flight was seven hours long , that once the plane was in the air it was fine it is so much easyer and less scary then you think Aquatic the gingers is a good idea for another reason aside from nerves haveing something to suck on whilst your takeing off and landing really helps with your ears popping

Status: offline 		I've actually flown quite a bit. It just always makes me nervous and this is my first flight alone. So it's a bit nerve-wracking for me.

Oddly, I've never had any problems with my ears popping. When was a kid my Mom would try to force me to chew gum or suck on candy and that annoyed me more than any discomfort in my ears. Of course, I can "pop" my ear at will by making a sort of yawning motion so anytime it got uncomfortable I just did that and problem solved.

Valyraen, however, does have problems with headaches and his ears while flying. On our flights to and from our honeymoon it drove him crazy that I was perfectly fine physically while he was miserable.

Status: offline 		I admit that I think I'm going to have to move in order to ever get my ass beaten again.  Sigh.

I don't usually go looking for prospects on the other side, but in a masochistic moment, I changed my parameters from the default list to:  straight, male, dominant, taller than me, within 25 miles, minimum age 35 (yeah, that's kinda pushing it on the young side).  With trepidation, I clicked SEARCH.

There are exactly TEN profiles that have signed on in the last six months that meet that criteria.  I know six of them in person.  Two others are lying about their marital status and/or orientation.  The other two have profiles that creep me out and/or would never, ever, in a bazillion years, fit with me.

Sigh.

Aqua...i would actually be unable to hear for a day or two after a flight, and the pain was awful.
Someone suggested using nasal spray 2-3 times before a flight. I have never had a problem since.
