In the interest of knocking off everybody's socks.... Mayan Hot Chocolate (from The Cocoa Tree in Nashville) 4 ounces dark chocolate, chopped 1 whole dried chili pepper 2 cups whole milk 1 cinnamon stick 1. Place chopped chocolate in small stainless steel bowl and set aside. 2. Cut chili pepper open lengthwise. Combine milk, chili pepper and cinnamon stick in saucepan. Bring just to a boil. 3. Pour milk over the chopped chocolate, using a sieve to keep the chili pepper fragments out of the mixture. Whisk vigorously until chocolate is melted and milk is frothy. Pour into preheated mugs. 4. Throw off your clothes... socks optional during winter time. 5. Call sunny and have her come over RIGHT NOW. *ok, I admit... I added those last two steps. In fact, better yet, preheat things by calling sunny before the process begins.
