Sounds like a deal to me!

I am actually a pro at packing I have moved way to much. I just have alot of stuff to pack. When we moved here the kids and I did it all on our own, packed and moved everything. I was so sore for weeks. However, I will glady do it again to get moved to a better more stable place.

Status: offline 		I admit I don't have alot of stuff, mostly it's clothes for me and toys for the monster. Packing will not be that hard, but sitting here looking around it seems dreadful! I have only been here 3 years. I came with 3 garbage bags full of clothes, a rubbermaid storage container (one of the huge ones) full of toys, a TV, 2 computers, and some towels, no furniture. I admit that car-load of stuff has only grown to probably a van and truck load.  I admit when I'm done packing it may be even less! LOL

I admit I feel like I am giving up my freedom.

I admit that is really not true, because even though I will have two more monsters to care for, I can leave the monsters all together and they can care for each other for short periods of time and daddy loves hanging out with the monsters so I will essentially be gaining more freedom.

Status: offline 		I admit I absolutely love sloppy pb&js with a nice glass of chocolate milk.

ETA:

Sophie I admit I envy you for having supportive family.

I admit I have ALOT of heavy wood furniture that is not fun to move.

I admit it took a large Uhaul to get everything moved here.

Status: offline 		I admit after years of being a not cutter, that the desire and urdges and thoughts of cutting have started coming back, and sometimes out of the clear blue I'll be like I should make myself bleed, I'd like to see my blood flowing.

But I know that's illogical and not healthy, an I distract myself for a while and it goes away.

I admit I sometimes don't care to distract myself from those t houghts, but so far I always do.

I admit it I feel like the entire world has gone into some kind of  ' other world' scene out of a movie.

I admit it I will make it through this with grace and dignity.

I admit it I continue to pray for so many on here that have struggle on here.

I admit it I chatted with someone who used to be active on these boards today, whom I used to worry about.

I admit it I think you should more than likely use those professional resources so many of us have urged you to connect with in the past, topping.

Topping.. My therapist says its natural to get those urgers. She said that its like an alchoholic craving a drink. Find yourself a support person or three and when you get those urges us those people. I have a couple of people who I have been known to call when I felt those urges and I they talk me through it and help me remind me why I cut. *huggs*

ETA: If those urgest becoming overwhelming please dont hesistate to seek professional help

Status: offline 		Kalista, I am in therapy now, so that's one resource I have been using. We're getting couples counseling too.

It's helped a lot, with the couples issues, and with some of my issues deep inside of me too.

I'll have to be sure to tell my therapist that my cutting phase seems to be re surfacing again.

I admit the pb&j sounds great and the chocolate milk, but not at the same time.

I admit my family has had it's ups and downs, like any.

I admit when I battled cancer the first round, I did so on my own.

I admit of my 7 siblings, I only associate with 6. The sister that I was closest to for a long long time left the monster and I homeless 3 years ago.

I admit it does feel super now knowing most of my family is behind me, ready and willing to help!

Kali...you just brought tears to my eyes. Having followed your posts from the time you first were debating about this procedure, i was in awe of your strength.
I can tell you in all honesty i am not sure i would be strong enough to walk in your shoes right now.

I admit every family has their issues.

I admit I haven't spoken to my father since he was sent to prison 5 yrs ago.

I admit I havent spoke to my older brother in 5 yrs.

I admit I rarely speak to my mother (once ever 6 mths if i call her)

I admit I dont deal with my extended family at all anymore and haven't since I left California.

I admit my younger brother and I have a relationship but even with him I have alot of boundaries.

I admit I have a SIL who I adore and love to death.

I admit my daughter says we are a family, small and broken but a family (she got it from Lelo and stitch)

when the urge hits, can you stop and sit quietly for a few moments to try to determine where your emotional state is, what had you been thinking about prior to the desire to cut...etc.
Then write it down as completely as you can. Do not think you will remember it to tell the therapist...some of the important details will be lost.

Supportive people are good, yes.

I've already requested that our therapy session on Tuesday be a bit longer than normal, because there's some checking in on past issues we have to discuss, and then some new ones that came up this week I'll need to discuss, including the desires to draw blood.

Status: offline 		Topping when I was California I went to a support group for cutters. They are free and monitored and run by professionals. Perhaps that is something that could / would be helpful to you as well. Sometimes realizing we aren't alone does so much to ease our own minds.
