Status: offline 		I admit that my eyes look like I have gone too many rounds with a prize fighter.

I admit that they are so swollen because I cried myself into oblivion last night.

I admit that I put my Heart and my Soul on a plane to go 13,000 miles away to visit family overseas for the summer.

I admit that I am eternally grateful for the airline staff who allowed us to stay together at the gate until the last possible second.

I admit that their airline escort came out to tell me that they were settled into the plane just fine and were going to have a great trip, and that she was going to keep extra close check on them along the way.

I admit that she asked me if I wanted to send anything back in the plane to them before they took off.

I admit that I wrote them a "Mama love note" and sent it in to them.

I admit that the ground crew supervisor told me the exact time that they taxied off the runway and took off.

I admit that this same man gave me his phone number and asked me out to dinner to "help take my mind off missing the kids."

I admit that I took his number but will not call him.  (I was just too spent to tell him no thank you.)

I admit that I love that we made acquaintances with an Indian family who was going on the flight, and I found out that the dad is a physician.  (good to know he's on the plane)

I admit that the mom almost cried when I told her that my babies were traveling without me, but would be meeting their dad at the airport in SL.

I admit that I cried so hard when I got back to my van without the Things that I didn't think I would ever stop.

I admit that I called the Things' dad and told him that they were en route, and he was very reassuring that they would be well taken care of and that they would call me as soon as they got to his arms.

I admit that he told me that all of my in-laws are sad that I couldn't make the trip, too.

I admit that he let me cry in his ear last night because of how much will power it took for me to put our two beautiful young children on a plane, in the care of others, rather than one of us.

I admit that they are going to have the adventure of a lifetime, for which I am thrilled.

I admit that I always thought I'd be with them when they had this adventure.

I admit that if my passport was current and I had the money, I'd be on a plane right now.

I admit that today I got up and got washed and dressed
I admit that I have turned a corner, I'm still sad but definitely feel better.

I admit that a mother's love never stops, no matter how old the child, or how far away they are.

I admit that I can't imagine how my mother-in-law (rest her soul) must have felt when she put her son on the plane to the US, knowing that he was coming here to live so many years ago.

I admit that I got a call from one of my gal pals and she made me laugh, but she let me cry first.

I admit that Thing 2, who never fails to have words of wisdom (or at least words that leave my jaw dropping), told me last night, "If my fish dies, or any of the animals die, while we're away, tell me.  I don't wanna come back to any surprises, 'k?"

I admit that just popped into my head and made me giggle.

I admit that Thing 1 told her, "Don't SAY that!  Our animals aren't gonna DIE... Mom, you aren't gonna let the animals die, are you?"  *distraught look*

I admit that I was torn between giggling and wanting to comfort him.  (I opted for comforting because I'm a good mama.)

I admit that reminds me of having to tell my monster yesterday that when we get to Indiana, Lilian, his precious Siamese furball, will probably not be welcome inside.

I admit he gave me that distraught look, and all I could say was "Take it up with Grandpa".

I admit Lilian has never been outside except her trip to the vet, so I'm not sure how she'll be on the farm!

I admit that they are not headed to Salt Lake, but rather Sri Lanka (island below India).

I admit that their connecting flight has been delayed, so they are in the care of their flight escort.

I admit that I want them on their flight soon because they are probably cranky, even though they slept a long time on the first flight, and I don't need them getting into mischief while they wait for Plane 2 to take them the rest of the way.

I admit that BK can be my flight escort any time. 

I admit that DB was here a little bit ago and scared me to death because I wasn't expecting the door to open and I shrieked, making Him laugh.
