I admit that I'm thrilled Wanders had such a great party for her Dad's birthday. I'm not at all shocked that your speech was so incredibly noteworthy. You rock! *Happy Birthday to your Dad from me* I admit that I would LOVE to go to Jazz Fest with BK (folds map, making UT and VA much closer) I admit that I am not going to be headed out as I thought I was, today. I admit that I spent the last 2 1/2 hours in the emergency room, doubled over in ridiculous pain. I admit that by the grace of God, I drove myself to the hospital since no one else was around to drive me. I admit that it turned out, I had my first kidney stone. (is this some 40 year old rite of passage thing? if so, it's crap) I admit that I apologized to every nurse there for crying about the pain. I admit that every nurse told me not to apologize, and said I was one of the quietest patients they remembered dealing with excruciating pain. (I didn't even have to show them my purple ass for them to say that, nope.) I admit that I always "go inside myself" if the pain gets too bad, even in labor. I admit that I loved the IV pain meds they gave me. The CT scan tech ran the gurney into the wall, and I laughed my ass off. (He apologized and I told him it was like medical bumper cars.) I admit that right before I left, the kidney stone passed and it is now in a little plastic jar. I named it Ralph because it made me puke along the highway, where I had to stop, on my way to the hospital. I admit that I feel TONS better now. I admit that stones, pebbles, and rocks belong in a driveway, not in my necessary organs.
