I admit, I do NOT envy any creature with kidney stones.

I admit, I've had people say that they hurt worse than giving birth.
I admit that from what I've seen, I believe it.
I admit that I would probably have been screaming and crying like a 4 year old little girl.

I admit mommy cat is standing next to herself healthwise...trouble with coordination, ignoring her lil ones and at times jumping all of a sudden incredible high...makes me wonder if she has mastitis...

I admit I can't wait to get to the vet tomorrow...to get her sorted as her boys need her (am convinced that both are boys).

I admit I am glad that the lil ones figured out how to suck from the feeding bottle...makes feeding them much easier...

I admit I just hope all will be turn all right and that she will be able to look after them again rather sooner than later...

I admit Master M from NZ contacted me again (we almost met last summer)...which is weird, considering last time we got in touch was also when I was in touch with Mr. A as well...

I admit I am glad that wanders Dad is loved and cheerished....something my dad will never achieve.

I admit that I hope to hear from Mr. A again tonight...because right next to my ex he is certainly the most yummy man I was ever dating

I admit my night won't be one with lots of sleep considering the lil ones need feeding every two hours...

Thanks Shar and BKSir...I will go with her tomorrow morning as unfortunately I still need to wait for the funds to get through from my ex to be able to cover that bill and don't even want to imagine what they charge on sundays when I don't really have to (gosh I miss the times where I had my car and lots of spare cash...still a leap off from being in such a position right now). But I will call the vet as soon as they open tomorrow morning and bring her and her lil ones in, in seperate carriers...I never experienced her like that she does huffing and puffing at times (much more common in that breed than actual hissing) but today she hissed serious big time, so if she would have mastitis or so it would make sense, eg if she would have fever and be in pain...I am just glad now that I finally catched her whilst she wasn't hiding behind the kitchen cupboards and also glad that her lil ones know how to feed from the feeding bottle...her eyes look awfully empty, her pupils are very large, which again, isnt normal at daytime...so I can't wait to get her sorted tomorrow and hate that my financial restrictions once again put me into my place over here...they effect her for today, as well as my dental check (though teeth are ok-ish at the moment) and my glasses (I need new glasses since a longer time as I know that my eyesight changed but just really can't afford right now to get such basic stuff sorted). not once have I had those problems at home...there simply life isnt as bloody expensive as it is over here...but well...2 more months and life starts to get easier again financially...one step at a time...

I admit, that last time I had a broken ankle, my dad joked that my grandma and I could have wheel chair races, since she too, was in a wheel chair to go long distances that she couldn't walk to well.

I admit, also that I ran myself into the wall once in the same day, because I wasn't being careful, and yes, that shit hurts like hell.

I admit, again, that my grandma saved her stones and stuff, and one day I didn't know the white things in the vile were kidney stones, and I took them out of the vile, had them in my hand, and then thought to ask "what are these mom" I was completely disgusted when my mom told me they were old kidney stones my grandma had saved.

It does...I had a kidney stone before I was pregnant Of course I tried to hit the EMT who dared to touch my back.

A few years later, I was hurting like crazy again. This time it was gallstones and slime. I passed out in the doctor's office and they wheeled me in to a room. After a quick scan, I had surgery (but not before telling the tech that I was full of it and there was proof.)

I enjoy natural birth to the stones.

I admit that I am glad Red is ok. ((hugs))

I admit that I love it when Red makes a big post and its got a heartwarming moment, and funny stuff and you never know which turn itll take next.

I admit that her story reminded me of the knee surgery I had, and how I couldnt stop laughing cuz the elevator made me feel all funny while on meds.

I admit that I am half tempted to run away and go take care of her.

I admit that catching up on threads while making breakfast is NOT good.

I admit that I am adding burnt blueberry waffles to the lawn in hopes that will make it grow. lol

I can understand your dilemma.

All sorts of things can go wrong with momma kitties after giving birth.
Mastitis or an infection in her uterus that could then travel and become peritonitis... .

However, my guess is that as sick as she is they would probably keep her overnight anyway and my fear is if you wait, tomorrow may be too late.

I had a momma kitty who ended up with peritonitis. In her case her uterus had actually exploded inside her.
She had surgery and mega IV antibiotics and the kittens had to be bottle fed even after she came home. The antibiotic they sent her home on would have passed through the placenta and would have killed the kittens.

If I would just be able to go I would, but its just not possible as the fund gets through at midnight (thats always the case when he puts money on my account). She seems to be a lil bit better and calmer now and ate well...and so far at least she doesn't show the symptoms of peritonitis...she was well yesterday and I am going to the vet tomorrow morning so at least it wasn't that long where she showed to be unwell...

I am glad that I ordered 2 feeding bottles for the lil ones some weeks ago "just in case"...I would be in trouble if I would not have them and the store where I bought the milk today (which is not ideal but at least not too bad either for them at that age) hasn't had any despite being quite a good pet store.

Gosh I hate that event

PeanutTigerinBox It sure is frusterating when your animal is sickies and you don't have the money or the ability to take them in.

When it came time to put my cocker spaniel to sleep he cost me about 500 -600 dollars in tests to find out what was wrong, because we didn't know at that point he was dying slowly, and then the vets wanted another 200 for creation, and it was another 50 dollars if I wanted his ashes back, and I didn't have the 250 to give. Thank goodness for my dad, who was kind enough to give me the 250.
