I admit that I've been lurking here once or twice recently.

I admit that I miss being here and also miss quite a few people here.

I admit that I've gone through a pretty major learning curve and have been through some difficulties but things are getting better.

I admit that I do eventually plan to return to being regular, but this might not be for some months yet due to the work I'm doing and the projects I'm involved in. But in a certain part of London there's energy, commitment, optimism and a certain buzz shared now among a couple of dozen people.

Finally I admit that I came here to remind people that even though I'm not around and absent, it doesn't mean that you are absent from my thoughts, but just as my friends here know me, when I disappear I almost invariably return. I look forward to that time.

Absolutely! Have you read The Knitting Sutra? It's a meditation on craft, particularly knitting, as a spiritual practice.

I admit that I deliberately did not do a demo interview so I don't have to teach this fall. This is a Good Thing, all around. Because yanno? The cost-benefit ratio is just tooooooo fucking low. I say this in spite of my terrifyingly low bank balance.

I admit to only being Somewhat Concerned about Dad's PET scan tomorrow. Those thingyblobs in his chest are just No Big Deal, like the last batch of thingyblobs. It is my Personal Belief (backed by a certain amount of Science) that we all live with an array of anomalies that we would have no clue about if it were not for mysterious tests.

AND I admit that SONG OF THE SOUTH is a movie that I HATE with the passion of ten thousand blazing suns!!! OMG. When mom took me to it when I was young, I was APPALLED. Old Yeller with Humans, FFS!!! They are watching it TOO DAMN LOUDLY because they CANNOT FUCKING HEAR. GAH!!!!!

I admit my moms tendancy to run her mouth about everything, even stuff that's not her place to share, annoys me.

Ok:) I'll have Daddy copy the picture onto my flash thumb drive and I'll send it to you tonight.

I really wish my mom would stop telling every one my business, but worst yet tell them and get it wrong, she keeps telling every one I am almost done with school, I just have to learn my times tables and then take an exit exam, and that's not even right, if it was just learning my times tables I would of been done long ago, but you have to go through the levels of math, time tables, long division fractions, algebra ect ect. And as to being "almost done" technically yes, since it's the last subject I have left, but not really "almost done" it could take me as much as another year or so to finish this last portion, depends on how well I am able to pick it up and remember it* which so far has been not at all* and how well I do on my exit exams.

She means well, in this case she's just proud an wants to tell every one, at least this information is harmless and not to personal personal, since she told our neighbor one time when the cops were called after a report of domestic violence, why the cops were in our driveway, which was not her business to tell, and the LAST thing I wanted our neighbor to know.

When I confronted her on that, she said well Lori asked what was I supposed to do, other than tell her why a cop car was here?

I said tell her it's a private matter you don't care to discuss because it's not your place to? Tell her it's none of her business? Tell her you don't know why?

I admit that I might have some peach cobbler, though I do not really like it. Peaches are a limited food for me, I want them all by themselves, not IN stuff. I know this is a strange preference.

I admit that under this genteel, southern, white girl exterior, lies the heart of a crazy black woman with pink sponge rollers in her hair, who wears her bedroom slippers to the grocery store, and screams obscenities at people from the stoop of her row house.

I admit that she came out like a wolverine when I found out that my sister-in-law overseas didn't tell my ex that I needed him to call me ASAP regarding Thing 1's medicine, and actually took the cell phone that they use at home, with her, and kept it at work because she forgot she was going out of town for a week, and it stayed in her desk... as I called it over and over and over again this past week.

I admit that when I "talked" to my ex, I'm fairly certain the entire island came to understand that I had no problem ripping her heart out of her chest via her closed mouth.

I admit it that I am very pleased to have received good news this evening.

I admit it that I will soon be at the Airport to meet my cherished Irish lady friend.

I admit it that I am beyond pleased knowing my cherished Irish lady friend will be in my world in less than 72 hours.

I admit it that I surely do want time to fly by knowing she is arriving soon.
