Status: offline 		I admit that (at least some of) my current mental problems are due to a TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) of more than 5 years ago.
I admit that my problems took more than 2 years to show up.

I admit that I'm very concerned about peanut and that IMHO, she should make sure there was no concussion.

I had one when I was hit by a car the first time (aged 8) and I looked it up online and don't show any sign of the possible ones. If I do feel uncertain I get medical help but right now I don't consider it to be necessary. I also did cancel work today which would have been physically demanding at that particular work place, to ensure not to put too much action on my body right now.

I take things slowly and am off today and over the weekend and look after myself

there's been some interesting research on TBI with soldiers returning from combat duty who've had undiagnosed TBI - generally concussion related from very close explosions... like most military research, it will no doubt start being taken seriously by the general population... eventually

Actually LadyH, when I was about 16 I had for 7 weeks headache I could not get rid off...at some point they made one of those x rays where they inject you stuff at first, with finding nothing apart from at "very hard skull" (don't remember the exact wording but it made me laugh as I remembered all the accidents I had already been through by then).

Seriously, if I get any slightest doubt I will get checked, but right now I don't think it is necessary, so don't worry.

If I would have headache I would even get checked but I don't even have that...I am sure it is just the normal bruising from that fall and my ex checks up on me for the next few mornings to ensure that it would not go unnoticed if I wouldn't wake up due to injury problems...I am ok.

I admit I am joining this queue of getting rid of a lot of stuff...after I sold plenty uni books on amazon I think it is time now to sell my others via ebay, starting at 99p....
