ORIGINAL: frazzle I admit that some of us have had a foot of snow, and instead of complaining, are thankful of the services still running, even if not on schedule. I admit that if certain people think the country they choose to reside in, is so bad, then maybe they should go back home. as it is known i will leave your holy isle in the near future no worry about that but yes i am not afraid to call a spade a spade instead of praising a country who closes countless schools bec of a bit of snow...i am more than happy to leave an isle behind who is 20years behind in quite a few aspects and whilst you might name it to blame i call it bemused...and am thankful to know diferent life qualities at other places and do not have to live in a happy bubble of denial. And your reply doesnt surprise me, bec as a british friend told me some years ago when i spoke at uni with a person with your attitude as another person and i dared to criticise your great nhs "british arent so direct,i think she missinterpreted your honesty with hostility." so quite frankly frazzle,i couldnt care less when some folks believe you have to shut up when you are in another country...as quite frankly i do value the freedom of speach and you are more than welcome to just use the hide button, aint that difficult really...apart from that,im only a "male troll" anyway in your wisdom, so why then bother to read what i write :D It seems to me, that you are a guest in a country: being giving the advantage of an educational opportunity. No one forced you to choose to go to Uni there. I am not mistaking your honesty for anything, but what I do seem to see lacking in your posts is any mention of gratitude of having a job; being able to pursue the education you chose to seek. You are on a countdown until you can leave... good for you. However, no one made you go to Uni there. No one extended your Uni time there except by your own admissions of poor time management on numerous occasions. I have time management issues so I understand that. I am perplexed by the lack of gratitude. I wish you success in your future endeavors. missmanaged time management was on one occasion, not on several and grattitude for my current job aint necessary, that job has plenty vacancies and reg study i did the exams for it as 1300 others did 4 years ago for 100 available places,i did build up to it (unintentionally) with a 4 year qualification i did back home and got through, like everyone else had the chance to get through and pay for it a fair amount. So quite frankly i dont consider to show gratitude for something which is normal in our society and possible for most folks to get and even less when i already did a lot to get there. And last but not least uni isnt the only reason i remained here but a main one yes, but also i didnt blame about doing uni as i am glad i did it and it was mostly a good time, but that doesnt change my opinion about here either.
