I admit that I am terrified of the idea of moving.

I admit that this is not helped by the near certainty that Val would not be coming with me at first.

I admit that I really don't like the idea of starting on my own in a new city without him.

I admit that I'm trying to think of it as me being the good servant and getting his home all nice and ready for him.

I admit that it's only somewhat comforting.

I admit that I am very nervous about how well I will fit in in WV if we end up going there.

I admit that, given that my brother-in-law already doesn't approve of me, being actively kinky/poly in a small town where my in-laws live could be... challenging.

I admit I really don't want to go back in the closet. I've got too many shoes in there.

I admit it, I screwed up. I didn't mean to, I wasn't even thinking. It was stress, but it obviously is my fault also. I admit I am so sorry, and am trying to be more careful. I admit I'm having a real hard time enduring this.

I admit that it is quite true. I have too many shoes in there to go back in the closet. I *really* like shoes. My female gene kicked in late and has been overactive to make up for it.

I admit that I'm hoping I will be worrying less in the near future. I have started contacting local groups and trying to reach out to "my" communities to see what sort of 'scene' is there for the various aspects of my life.

And thanks. I can't sleep so I keep eyeballing my e-mail, hoping for responses even though I know that all the sane people are already asleep. :-)

I admit that I feel for those who are still up. Unless of course they are on the side of the world and this is a normal waking hour for them. In which case...

I admit I envy the lucky bastards as that is evidently the sleeping cycle my body wants to be on.

no, AS, it's nearly 11 pm. i'm just contemplating bed and sleep as well. i'm on roughly the same schedule (though probably an easier sleep pattern) as wanders, she of the panda fetish

*i* think you're weird for that! i've been here 21 yrs and still can't stand it. however, you will find an overabundance of the stuff at the grocery stores, so people will see nothing amiss with your liking it. val and i will just wrinkle our noses as you enjoy it.

and the town i'm living in now, there's a park where wild koala's are apparently rather more abundant than i'm used to. and at the end of another trail, a creek where you're supposed to be able to see platypuses!

it would have to stop raining long enough for me to venture out to either of those places, lol

re swimming, if you have your padi license, we're not HUGELY far from the great barrier reef (closer than i was in SA, anyways)

ferrets in oz..., cats need quarantining. we don't have rabies here.

i don't know how hard it is re employers. i do know that in most major cities, we haven't been hit as hard by the GFC. employment rates are fairly good.

re all moves: spread your wings and fly. sometimes that leap into the unknown opens up your heart and mind to all kinds of possibilities.

This could prove complicated. I wonder if I could get an agent or something to help me figure out where I could move to keep all my babies safe and sound.

That would actually be a great service that I wish someone would start. A "Help you set up your new life" service. Someone who helps you find a job in an area and settle all the details so that you aren't constantly freaking out. Kinda like a professional organizer.

you know the need, you know the stressors.

the devils in the details. maybe you can find a way to reduce the devil to an imp.

for instance think of those families who need to find details re babysitters, preschools, playschools and higher levels of schooling for their children. hard enough to get packed without adding in those kind of VERY important details.
for singles, it's about utilities, grocery stores, good restaurants, play groups of a different sort

for older retirees it's about restaurants, social groups, pharmacies and specialists

where there's a will, baby, there's a way :)

I admit I have sent of my repeat prescription, now I only hope to have enough money left to be able to afford my fare to the GP and the airport on friday

I admit I suggested to my meeting that we could still postpone our meeting to end of february, as I am flexible like that (truly wouldnt mind)

I admit today I finally have to find my damn papers for some stuff to sort out here as well as prepare my ebay remains for postage....draining, but neccessary.
