I admit my trip home was (and surely continues) to be very enlightening...in positive aspects as well as negative ones. I admit that my SIL and I bonded a lot during this visit (it's the third time we met) and talked a lot this evening which was informative for both of us (as she knows now some stuff my brother doesn't know so far so she didn't know either and got some questions answered, which she had about my brothers and my upbringing ...not that my brother wouldn't answer her but it gave her a fuller picture to hear my view as well, to just get a broader understanding of some aspects). I admit it was cute when my nephew gave me their christmas present (he can't remember me, he is just 2 and only met me when he was 10 months old) and when he sat next to me to open his birthday presents from me. I admit looking at him reminds me on Macauly Culkin. I admit he made me laugh today when my brother wanted to do a picture at my mothers party, but his son kept pushing his flash light back in I admit I hated the fact that I forgot my camera at home as I would have loved to keep a picture of this cute interaction between my brother and his son. I admit I am proud about my brothers patient and humourus parenting style. I admit I am looking forward to meet a friend today whom I know since 27 years (though we had no contact for 14 years in between) as that will be a meeting to vent, as she truly understands my relationship and feelings in regards to my parents, as she still knows how it was when I was younger as I was almost daily at her home (some topics had already flared up on our last telephone conversation, not due to me forcing it upon her but due to the questions she had asked.) I admit I am also looking forward to meet my best friend tomorrow which will be awesome as it always is, when we meet at our favourite restaurant. I admit after our last visit, when we got up, I said "uha, 2kg heavier" she replied: "but it was good!!!" I admit she is a true gem
