I admit today is going to be a fun one. I get to run my mother around to the doctors. (She still can't see too well from the meds they gave her when she was in the hospital)

It's a tedious problem because they can be extraordinarily good news [not everyone - you know who you are! Think "mafia"] and it can be surprisingly easy to fall in love with them.

So what I think you'll find you have there YSG is a female. And probably the best you can do is what we all do - hide the hurt, accept it's all your fault and keep loving her. Or, and I offer this suggestion with no knowledge of your relationship but with some slight experience of its efficacy, tie her up and spank the daylights out of her (lovingly of course).

I admit I am glad that Red enjoyed being in my dream (I promise we were well behaved!).

I admit we took the soda cans to the recycling place.

I admit that Thing 2 is giving me a run for my money these days. Poor Thing 1 asked her a simple question yesterday and she bit his head off for no apparent reason other than the fact that she was feeling like an alley cat whose tail had been stepped on. (thinks of SD's description of females and cries because she isn't even in the terrible teens yet)

I admit that Thing 1 let me hug him in front of his friends, God, and everybody yesterday when we were outside. He kissed my cheek and the top of my head and said, "I love you, Mom. You're the best, yanno."

I admit that my heart got completely melted and I got teary-eyed when he did that, and again, just now, typing it.

I admit that between the doses of crazy and love, my Things all balance out.

LMAO yes, the creature I am refering to is indeed of the female variety. Yes, I know they are all illogical, and irrational creatures. However, I have managed to get one to -gasp- apologize, AND admit that she was wrong (the sky is falling!)
