I admit that he has some cute kids, too.
I admit that he doesn't belong on American Smegheads, I mean Idol.
I admit that I *LURVES* me some Aerosmith, like, for a really long time now. *yep*

I admit that because of Himself's and my long-term and deep-seeded dissatisfaction with the indoctrination centers, I mean public school systems in our area, we are also considering homeschooling a child.
I admit that this is not a new or recent thought. I wanted to homeschool my older children, but was not then in a position to do so, which is a real pity.
I admit that the child in question is not a high-schooler, so this will be a long-term commitment.
I admit that the child is brilliant, but kind of nerdy. Kind of like his parents..
I admit that yes, we have already considered all the circumstantial and developmental ramifications of this very serious decision, and how it will affect ALL of us, not just the child.
I admit that homeschooling is fully legal here in NC, that 30,000-plus families are already doing it, and it isn't just for special needs kids anymore, not even sort of.

I admit that this was a lot of admits. Mea culpa, my tribe..

I admit I think that has to do with my bad diet of consuming way too much chocolate and exercising way too little.

I admit I regret, that I changed my mind yesterday to order my desired fruit juicer, especially knowing now that my money left my account for other reasons

I admit I am currently in not much great mood to do applications as it just feels like a mammoth task...and I am grateful to have some extra cash coming in at present which today increased in upcoming meetings.

I admit I should manage to get rid of my 12 months loan this month with paying it off straight away, saving me the interest rates for 11 months of it

I admit I could do well with not having to pay for them 85 pound a month...

I admit whilst I still hope that my thursday meeting will take place I am aware that it looks like it will be at a later day instead...damn...

I admit thanks to housing benefits coming in next week I can use those for other urgent payments for now as i will have it due when I need it on the 10th thanks to ebay

I admit I am looking forward to a stable income again without rearranging finances all the time

I admit it feels odd to play "memory" with your finances and bills all the time

I admit I aimed to post my registration paper tomorrow for my degree profession, but am way too tired to bother...will do that next week...

I used to get a headache about an hour after arriving at work - which was about the time my coworker showed up - so I associated the headache with her - until I found out about the toxic mold.

(My symptoms started with a headache and spread into many other things, all of which went away when I stopped working there)

I admit that I have not done this in a very long while.

I admit that my area a FULL of homeschooling families, and much to Thing 2's dismay, I will not be one of the homeschooling mamas.

I admit that I do not have the patience for it, and admire those who do.

I admit that I am ready to set fire to this worksheet full of word problems.

I admit that I am also ready to saw this cast offa my leg and chuck it into the above-referenced fire.

i admit my late M and i were going to homeschool our kids (and he wanted a boatload of them =p har har)

........
i admit to wondering what comes after handcuffs. i don't remember from my first time around. guess i'll have to find out.

Status: offline 		You know, you could always find a progressive school if you're really worried about "indoctrination". You can also argue that you need a certain amount of indoctrination to create a resistance to it. Personality has a lot to do with how likely you are to challenge doctrines. I've spent two and half years in a Catholic highschool when my parents last moved. It didn't make me any less likely to question everything (including in a phenomenological sense).

Anyway, school is a social experience, where you learn how to charm people, get your way and sweet talk girls. Don't be a protective control freak... Your kids don't need to be exactly as you envision for them to live well.

I admit, as a future math teacher, people like her piss me off
I admit, dividing fractions is fairly easy for me

like so: you take the second fraction and flip it, wich makes it a reciprocal. you then simply across and simplify the answer (if needed).
Example: 1/2 divided by 2/3, you turn the 2/3 over, so the problem becomes 1/2 x 3/2, wich equals 3/4

Status: offline 		homeschooling isn't necessarily about making your kids "just like you envision them," for many it's about giving them opportunities to branch out that standard schooling doesn't offer. progressive schools haven't sprang up everywhere. and homeschooling families can join up with others in programs designed to help homeschooled kids get social experience and outlets.
it ain't all bad.
