I admit prayers for reds friend

I admit it sounds like Hilly had a great time

I admit I spent yesterday after work playing in a sand pit with my kids and Daddy and a few great friends. It was a blast. I did manage to flip a 4 wheeler over on myself while trying to go up too steep of a hill. My 12 year old has made sure to point out that this is PROOF he's a better driver than I am. We also smoked a ton of venison and enjoyed a bit too much rum. My kids had fun playing with our friends kids and wore themselves out in the dirt and on the trampoline. They all (7 small boys in all) ate all their dinner with no fights, took showers in turn quickly when asked, and went right to bed and fell asleep with out complaints.

All in all it was an awesome mothers day.

I admit that I found a slave girl in Sept. who lost her job & home and moved in w/me on NY's eve.
I admit we've been thru hell & back because I did NOT want a live in, p/t was sufficient for me.
I admit that she found a very good job as a Property Manager & found housing on site.
I admit that I've become very used to having her around & didn't want her to move.
I admit that she turned down the housing & I'm very happy. (Adjustment periods are a bitch but oh so worth it).
I admit that I had to take her to the ER last week & they're suspecting ovarian cancer.
I admit that she's having a complete hysterectomy next week & a biopsy will be done at the same time.
I admit that I'm pissed the Dr. who did a partial hysterectomy 4yrs ago didn't clean her out and said that annual exams aren't necessary.

I admit that w/a pet sitting job over the holiday weekend & as an EMT at a local park in addition to caring for her & her furbabies after surgery sounds overwhelming to me but it needs to be done & done it will be.
I admit that I wish Lin was still in the area. I'd give her the pet sitting job!

I admit:

- having a roomate is very difficult at first, especially if it's your inflexible older sister moving out of her home to divorce her asshole husband.
- 4 years later I was sorry to see her go (post divorce, her husband has changed and is now a decent human being).

- I hope things go well for Potty's roomate and their suspicion of cancer is just a suspicion.

I admit that Hibbie made me laugh.

I admit that I have almost every episode of Fawlty Towers committed to memory because I LOVE that show.

I admit that we are still waiting on news re: my friend's hubby. He is still not able to move and is on a ventilator for the next day or so.

I admit that they won't know if the surgery was a success for a while.

I admit that I am going to make my lunch & eat it at my desk.

I admit prayers for Potty's girl, and more for DRH's friend.

I admit I'm happy to hear that Ghita had such a good Mother's Day.

I admit I'm so very proud of Max today. He has difficulty with change sometimes, but he's sick of working in a photo lab at a drug store and has been wanting out for a while. He found an open position as a tour guide on a historic ship (he's really passionate about history) and yesterday wrote up an awesome resume and cover letter and sent it out. The guy e-mailed him first thing this morning and said he wants to do a phone interview asap. I could not be happier and prouder today! The interview is tomorrow morning, and I just know my brilliant sweetheart is going to get the job.

I admit I've got to start gathering everything up so we can check out of the hotel today.

I admit that I'm going to go home after work & cuddle w/the dog for a short nap before working out.
I admit I'm exhausted after working all weekend and didn't sleep well last night at all.

I admit after an 8 hour journey I finally reached my hotel in the alps.

I admit it was a gorgeous journey...well....apart from the moment where I had missed out to turn left or right once and so missed the correct motorway and ended up at loads of country lanes for 3 hours of my journey

I admit I appreciate that my meeting tomorrow will be at 1.30pm, which means I can take breakfast at the end of their schedule (towards 10am) and then still relax a bit before going on my way to there...

I admit I hope that I dont muddle english words into my sentences as that shit does happen sometimes and would be awkward tomorrow....
