I admit I just heard from my friend who I was worried about.

I admit I'm glad everything is ok.

I admit I still worry about him.

I admit I don't usually say this about men, but damn I'd love to smack him around a bit and introduce him to my strapon.

i admit, GT, i used to have a futon mattress, and it was a nightmare, so i feel your pain.
i admit, the memory foam mattress i got came from sam's club, so it isn't a fancy tempurpedic anything, and it was only $275 for the mattress AND the snazzy metal platform frame. it also came with a huge canvas storage container that i keep my dance costumes in, and a bed skirt, so you can't see the funny metal legs. it gives me 14" of under-the-bed storage.
probably the best deal i've ever got, EVER.
i do have a mattress topper to give it some familiar floofiness, but it's pretty thin. memory foam rules.

well, I have an awesome frame, and the underbed storage..

Hmm.. I may have to join Sams club, even if I never use it for anything else!

I got uber lucky with my bed. The people who were renting my aunts house across the street decided it was less hassle to just buy a new bed than ship their brand new king sized pillow top expensive bed to arizona. So they left it behind and my aunt said I could have it if I could get it across the street. Which I did.

I admit I built my bed. It is a platform bed. I knew that was what I wanted but could find nothing I liked that was reasonably priced. One trip to the building supply store. A few hours of cutting, drilling, staining.......and a fabulously sturdy platform bed with loads of storage.

if you just need the mattress, you can get an 8" full-size one for $182 (it's the same one i have and it's awesome) they also have 10" or 12" ones -- http://www.samsclub.com/sams/shop/product.jsp?productId=prod2980305&navAction=
some k-marts also have the same mattresses in-store, so you wouldn't need to involve yourself with sam's club

i admit, i tell everyone i know about them because they're cheap and they are actually really nice. =p it makes the memory foam thingie accessible to anyone, even someone like me with a struggling student budget ^.~

i admit, that's super lucky. M had something similar -- i miss sleeping in it. it was the only other bed, besides the one i have now, and probably the only "conventional" mattress, that didn't tweak out my back.

i admit, i have a really "pronounced" curve where my low back and butt meet, plus my hips are kinda "obvious;" most mattresses with springs just jab me all over

I admit I would love to be able to build a platform for my bed with drawers underneath it for storage.

I admit my dad got rid of all his wood-working tools when he sold the house to move into a condo and I can't do it here, I'm a renter and no access to a place to be able to do it myself.

I admit my dad never taught me, but I'm pretty good with power tools and figure with a bit of help I'd be able to do it. I'm glad I learned so much at my dad's hand, there's a lot I can do on my own without having to rely on someone to do every little thing for me.

I admit about the only thing I would never attempt is serious plumbing or electrical issues. I'd either drown or electrocute myself by accident. That's not an idle comment, it's a fact, I'm SUCH a klutz.

I admit my Dad had mad woodworking skillz.. but he never taught me (one of the stepmoms nephews, however is now a cabintry craftsman)

I admit focusing on refusing to be bitter or angry just fuels the feelings denied.
I admit that I have "forgotten" a lot of my past, so I don't re-feel the emotions involved or have to remind myself of the people involved... I also admit that when I do remember, it is all very real.

I admit that I heard from a little one that I haven't heard from in a very long time and that I think she is doing better and that makes me very happy.

I admit the changes are still happening and I am intrigued to see where it all comes together.

I admit it has rained a bit here and I'm loving it.

I admit I'm going to finally start using the gym membership I pay for every month.

I admit that the coffee I made this morning is fabulous. (I add nutmeg to my coffee)

I admit I love my old bed, but plan to buy a new mattress when I move.

I admit I'll be buying a king size bed...love to roll around and have space for my grandums, my books, my cat, and pillows

I admit I LOVE pillows, but have 1 specal pillow I've had for 24 years. his name is Mr. P-Low and I can't sleep without him.

I admit some wonderful coffee-cake cupcakes would be so great right now.

Forgot to add because of my grandfather, I can build my own house. I loved him so much and I still have his old planer and level.

I admit I love a man that knows his way around building things and knows about the woods/outdoors.

I admit I may end up with a hobby farm.

I admit I got lucky when it came to the learning skillz.

My grandfather is an awesome carpenter and can build anything or fix anything out of wood. His next youngest brother is an awesome electrical engineer and if its electrical or electronic, he can fix it or if it doesn't exist he can design it and then build it. Their next youngest brother is a mechanical engineer and if it has an engine, he can make it go. If it doesn't have an engine, he can build one for it.

All three of them never had a problem with me being a girl and taught me everything they could.

Their next youngest sibling is a girl. And a former home ec teacher. She tried very hard to include some girl appropriate skills in my learning. She didn't entirely fail. I think she thinks she did

I admit that I wish I could be as big a person as Crypt is, as far as letting go.

I admit I am still too far from that point, as I have recently admited to myself.

I admit I *will* get there, and I am blessed to have friends to remind me to let go.

I admit to Dovie that sometimes, on those rare occasions that I drink coffee, I add cinnamon, nutmeg and a drop or two of vanilla.... (when I brew it myself)

I admit that my laziness seems to extend to almost everything else. ask anyone who knows me well. Hell, look at my angst about packing to move!!

But..he was my FATHER. I expected better from him, because I KNEW he was a good man (aside from the whole 'omg, you're actually my daughter, let me treat you as such' thing)
