i admit it....i really wish i could hug Girly right now.

I admit it is very difficult to be a caregiver, especially for one whom we love.

I admit it the most important part of caregiving is understanding how to take time out for ourselves, to recharge so we can go on.

I admit it I'm glad that you're taking the day away, Girly. It really will be exactly what you need.

I admit this next admit will hopefully bring a giggle:

tonight, I set my alarm for 9:45pm, so I cuold get up early enough to determine if my car was going to start, or if I needed to call a taxi.
It started (pretty quickly, too!), so I turned it off, went inside, showered and got ready for work. Gathered up my cooler of beverages (Mt Dew, water and gatorade), a couple of books, and got in the car (it's now 1030.. my shift is 11-7, and it takes about 20 mins to get to work). The car doesnt start... doesnt start...doesnt start...finally, after 3 mins or so, it started. I head out, and make fairly good time so since I am hungry I decide to grab something at a drive thru. (I wish there was a taco bell around here...I was craving taco supremes). Finally decide just to hit the Wendys next door to work (I'm NOT a big fan of wendys, so I get the baked potato). It is now 1055. for some reason, it took all of the next 5 minutes to get my order, so I race over to the hotel, grab my food and run in...

only to be asked "why are you here? it's your weekend off!!"
