I admit it's been a long day, I've been trying to sort out my Christmas plans so I don't have to spend the day alone, it all seems down to chance and hope at the mo so fingers and toes are crossed...

I admit I managed to cook enchiladas tonight and they are gorgeous :-D

I admit hugs and best wishes to Wandersalone and her BFF, to Tigger and her teeth, to Ghita and to Lily.

I am sending waves of inspiration to Dovie as well :)

I admit my prayers are with Wanders, her BFF and family.

I admit... that I don't actually like people as a generalisation, that I secretly clean/tidy up the areas my subs will be working on before they come over, that I've been totally slacking off at work, and that I think I'm in domdrop.

I admit, sending more and more glitter to wanders and her friend/family. Lots and lots of glitter.

I admit, also sending new-fangled "clarity glitter" to dovie -- hope it helps and you get some answers!

I admit, my grandma has been tested and tested and tested and nobody knows what's wrong with her. So we're thinking it's depression + her Alzheimer's that's causing this. She's eating ice cream on an empty stomach which just makes her lactose intolerance worse. The only one who can do anything right now is my aunt.
My grandma is so skinny you can see her ribs now, which is scary to me -- she's never been that small, and I hope this isn't the beginning of the end................ She's excited about traveling for Thanksgiving, so we're all going to meet in the middle and have T-Day dinner somewhere. She'll eat when she's excited about something, or when all the remaining relatives are together -- at home she just gets depressed.

I admit, I also never thought about cooking being a skill that takes memory until I read an article about anorexia in the elderly -- the article talked about how many of them forget to cook, but they don't want anyone to know it. I'm going to try getting her some little meals she can just microwave -- maybe she can at least get those. I can send money from up here so my aunt can go get them for her; that's at least something I can do.

I admit, I experienced some nonconsensual napping, and now I'm way behind on the day.

Lilly, I used to do work with Meals on Wheels and if she does qualify, she can get a hot meal a day (and someone checking on her).

Baby M tried to eat an apple and bit off more than she could chew. Nurse Grandma to the rescue!

I started Cipro today and it has me feeling sick (common side effect).

After grocery shopping and picking up Baby M, we got home and moved the freezer on the back porch (where the cat just watched us thinking we gone queer), moved a pantry from the bathroom to the kitchen and build up some more shelves in the bathroom. Then Mom got the bird feeder filled up.

I admit that we all had a rough day.

I admit we have the TV on Disney...HELP!!!

She does qualify for it, but because she lives a smidge outside city limits, they won't deliver it to her. My aunt goes and picks it up, but lately she hadn't even been eating those.

I admit, Baby M's apple-eating-experience must've been scary if it required nurse powers! yikes! Hope everything's okay now!

I admit that getting old folks to eat is often a chore when there is NO dementia involved...but often you have to sit and encourage every bite like you do with a toddler.

Just some quick finger action. I was about to huggle her to make the piece pop out.

Since we did so much work today, we are not even thinking of cooking supper. I picked up a couple of mac and cheese frozen dinners just in case...LOL!

Goodness...she was hitting me in the ribs with the apple and it feels bruised now...

Her birthday is this week and all she wants is to go to Chuckie Cheese's.

I admit that was too many pages of catchup to do so i skipped ahead.

I admit that my interwebz got yanked that night and so now im going to the library and such but heck its free wifi when it wants to work.

I admit that i am off to do school work cuz hubby walked up here with me and doesnt want to sit here all the rest of the night LOL plus i have till 9 to get everything done and thats going to be pushing it a bit i fear.

I admit, I'm not always the most careful person. :p I took my dog to the park, dropped my house keys, and was lucky enough to find them with the last rays of the sun. It's pitch black now. Phew!
