Happy belated birthday to DC!

We had the turkey today, had one plate then a piece of pecan pie. I am feeling so stuffed that I am waddling to the bathroom half the time. I am also so tired.

HAd the kiddos overnight and Mom is swearing never again. She says that all of the time. This morning baby M decided to vomit on the leather recliner and rug. Still wondering what gave her a bad tummy ache. The recliner was saved but the rug had to go outdoors. Thank goodness I have a 16yo who does not act like these kids (give the kid a PS3 game and she's happy).

We tried to put the tv stand together but the maker fucked it up by not supplying more dowels and making it out of cheap particle board. I am threatening to get 3/4 plywood and a few 2x4 and make her one that can stand up to our tv.

I admit I'm bordering on exhaustion.

I admit I'm also bordering on losing a foot up my Manny's butt. I don't know what his probem is, I have asked, his reply was: "It isn't you, so don't worry about it."

I admit it's no wonder Thing 1 models his father's douchebaggery at times.

I admit I miss Geoff terribly right now :( I have had fun texting and FB'ing with his Mom this afternoon...

I admit that I love that my new Mom-in-law is so much fun.

I admit the quote of the trip goes to her, after I was surprise french-kissed by Geoff in the kitchen, "I believe you may have been mouth-raped by my son just now."

YAY for Red's cool in-laws....

I got on the phone with my bro tonight. I asked him how his Thanksgiving went...he said "the usual." His wife grabs the phone and says "Oh it was awesome, you should have been there...my Dad started this huge fight over the whole Penn State thing and everybody got pissed and stormed out and my Dad got all mad..... "
says me: "that doesn't sound awesome at all. I don't like watching people fight or get upset:
says her: "oh it was great! my Dad got so pissed at your Dad because your Dad was staying so calm and arguing his point...."
says me: "my dinner was full of friends. we shared stories, laughed, talked about interesting things and sat around a fire. no one argued and no one got pissed about anything"
says her: "well, you missed it. it was awesome."
says me: " hello? hello? is my microphone broken? can anybody hear me?"
she hung up.

I admit.....
cool in-laws are a good thing. Hope I have some one day.

I admit that Hausboy has it right!! I cannot imagine arguing over a pedophile as a "fun topic of discussion". In my heaven the only raised voices are those raised in laughter.

Oh and re: Heaven. Le sigh. Our faux grandson's bio grandpa died in the Philippines, and mom told him that we'd all hook up in Heaven eventually. I commented to Jed that it was a crock, but a nice idea. Mom told me that I needed FAITH. Um. Okay.

I admit I *DO* haz cool in-laws. I am happy about this. I have wanted a yummy family for ages. My actual one has fragmented and I really only have my Dad and my one sister who I'm really close to. They are the only ones I'm inviting to the wedding.

I admit that I am so very sorry Geoff is sick.

I'm glad you got your paper done, sweetness. Please be well. You know, Potty will say this is yet another visit that left you ill after I left. (I'm thinking you're just reacting badly to my departure... You miss me so much, it hurts.) *nods*

I admit that, while we were there, I found a single gray hair in Geoff's otherwise dark brown locks.

I admit that he said the Things and I gave him said gray hair.

I admit that I yanked said gray hair from his head and said, "I see nothing, there's no evidence. I have no idea what you're talking about."

I admit that all he could do was yell from the pain. I told him it didn't hurt that bad and to hush.

I admit that I have a slightly sadistic side that likes to poke its head out at times, especially in public, where Geoff cannot react adversely too much.

I admit that I heard Thing 2 say, "Best moment with my new Grandpa was making homemade pizza, best moment with my new Grandma was shopping and looking through the sale papers, best moment with my new uncle was skateboarding and doing 4 new tricks at the skate park, and best moment with Geoff was hanging out at all the places we went."

I admit that I heard Thing 1 tell his bestie about our trip to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Museum. I also heard him say that he had a really good time and that everyone was "cool."

I admit those things made my heart smile.

I admit that I LOL'ed when Thing 2 told my Mom-in-law that she was "mentally scarred at how mushy and gross" Geoff and I are.

I admit that I told her I have a therapist who does family counseling and we may qualify for a group rate.

I admit that my Dad-in-law said a discount for mental scarring sounded like a good deal to him.

i admit that Red's mom-in-law made me laugh. i like her style.

i admit that i have spent a good morning with my boy.

i admit that robin came and sat in the tree near the stables and amused the boy by doing a sing-off with me before coming to me.

i admit that he came to within 2" of my fingers and sat with me churping away for about 15mins.

i admit it made my arm ached keeping it stretched out to him all the time, but is fantastic all the same. he also came round to us where the hayage bales are and flu towards me when i put my hand out and called him. he changed his mind at the last moment and didn't land, but the boy and i were amazed all the same. he certainly brightens up my day.
