I admit that I am not capable of a mindfuck of that level. Though I have always wanted to shave my head. (saying things like this strikes fear into my mother's heart). I admit that the things other people do that make them happy boggle me completely sometimes, but who can argue with people being happy?

I admit that I am having a day of mixed feelings, primarily good.

Well in order I'm getting a crash course in brazing, it's a pain in the ass joining bronze, crass and copper,
leatherworking, steampunking stuff is fun, but leatherworking seems to be an absolute requirement,
steambending hardwood (really fun),
an art fundamentals course so I can get my shite back together for a webcomic I want to start,
relearning soldering I could do it when I was in my early teens but I stopped needing to do it for a long long time,
learning basic welding technique(instructors says I'm a natural born hedgehog welder...git),
and last but not least script writing.

When I said I was over my head I meant it. I am trained as a woodworker, and a metalworker of sorts. But the metalworking never dealt with brazing or welding, more with using metals as a construction material using joiners. The leatherworking is kind of counter-intuitive for me, I'm goddess awful at sewing, and usually end up sewn to anything I work with so...

But anyway it's all fun, and I'm really enjoying it.

oh wow!! wicked cool! I'm glad you're having fun! (and I'm with ya on that sewing thing... in a pinch, I can fix a seam or apply a patch, but anything else? forget it! SEWING MACHINES are EVIL!!)

Sewing machines were created by a sociopath. I had one for a long time (7 years) but I never once managed to use it without causing myself damage. Rather than hit it with a sledgehammer (yup I have one) I decided to give it to a girl I was dating before xmas. Much better use of it. :-)

Yeeeeeup my mom bought me my one for xmas the year I started to transition. The thought was sweet, she remembered that in the conversation I came out to her in I'd said "I don't want to be the girl next door, I want to be me." I could learn to make the clothes that I wanted to wear, thus be more me. Great reasoning. Pretty damned great parenting...right up til I sewed my hand to a pair of jeans I was taking up. I won't go into the time I dropped the whole thing onto my genitals. Or the time I tripped and it hit me full weight in the face.

Sewing machines and Becka....bad juju.

GAWD!! i only sewed my fingers into the fabric. I did fail (with a big, fat FAIL) my "Home Ec" classes. Couldn't sew, cook, bake, etc. I have since overcome the latter two...but that whole sewing like a champ thing? BAH!!!

I admit, I love my sister. I can only say it here because it would embarrass her to know I'm on to her.

She comes to visit only a couple times a year, but when she does, she "picks up a few things for dinner" at the grocery store on her way. She arrives with $130 worth of groceries for her younger sister, the single mom with two jobs (me), and then conveniently "forgets" them all when she leaves.

I admit I had the displeasure of meeting 2 Australian insta-Dom's on the other side lastnight. Ugh.

I admit I've got stuff to do today and at 11am, still trying to find the motivation to do them. Got night duty the next 3 nights.

I admit I am really excited to see my BFF this weekend.

I admit I am also in awe of anyone who can & will shave their hair. I have "hair issues" though and probably an ugly shaped head! Littlewonder already know my beamage for her & Kana.

I admit that indeed, littlewonder and Kana are kinda cool like that, and I am happy for their happy, and stuff.
I admit that my last admit was in no way meant to be an admonition or a criticism of any kind. If anything, it was more like an "WOW I could never do that" thing, a statement about myself and what I am capable of.. which of course, is always changing, n'est ce pas?

I admit that if I was a slave (which, erm, uh, I've tried to be in the past, but we won't go there..), I would want to be either little wonder or one of the girls from KnightofMists when I grew up, because I admire them and their beautiful, positive slave spirits that much.

I admit that I am thankful to you all and I in no way took you as an admonishment.
I admit I'm now in the process of redyeing my hair since I'm allowed to now and getting it trimmed tomorrow and believe me, when I tell her not to cut off more than just a trim I'm going to be adamant on it. lol....repeats...she will never take her hair or him for granted ever again.

I admit I'm moving house in three weeks.

I admit I agreed with Mistress to put all my DVDs (barring boxsets) into a large CD case and get rid of the really bulky plastic boxes.

I admit that this is tweaking my OCD really badly.

I admit she's right though, I have over 200 DVD's not counting boxsets, and they take up an insane amount of space which I need far more for my book collection (400+ mostly hardback).

Not something I'd fancy doing myself, but so long as you keep any booklets as well as the discs, nothing serious is lost unless you need to resell some of them.
