Status: offline 		I admit I am using 3x magnifiers to read with, and to knit...my bifocals are not that strong. It was amazing to be able to read street signs again! When I turned 45 my eyesight started to plummet. My right eye was never good, now it's 20/200 or some damn thing.

I tried fixing it with a contact, but it turned out I was allergic to the material of the lens! And I will never have binocular vision anyway, so fooey!

I admit I just cast on for a fast scarf pattern in a yarn I bought specially for this project. Easy.

I admit I think I look like a dork.
I admit it thundered heavily here all day and turned dark but then no rain.
I admit due to the heat and a water main break, one of the major downtown streets has buckled and there's now possibly a sinkhole involved.
I admit they say it will take about a month to fix the street.
I admit that means if I'm riding the bus that way between now and then I'll have to make sure to make extra time for detours. Blah.

Status: offline 		I admit I've worn glasses, almost constantly, since I was 7 years old. My prescription still isn't stable enough to even entertain the idea of contacts. My astigmatism keeps getting worse. Good thing Odeen loves my glasses. And I actually think I look weird without them but that could be because I can't see myself properly.

I admit we just had a super yummy dinner out to celebrate my future father in-law's birthday. Espresso panna cotta? OMFG!

I'll admit that I had 5 eye surgeries before I was nine months old.

I'll admit that I looked like a baby pirate because of the eye patches.

I'll admit that I've had two more eye surgeries since then.

I'll admit that being temporarily blind sucks. Sleep it off.

I admit that my glasses suit me, but it's hard to get them fitted right because my right ear is way lower than my left. I got a pair of Alain Mikli frames that are similar to the ones I wanted (yay ebay) and the former owner's prescription is such that I literally can't see myself clearly in them! I hope they suit me, it's freakin expensive to get lenses for bifocals!
